No shows and poor communication
Contacted City Appliance May 24th in regards to a leaking ice machine/fridge. The fellow was on a call and said he would call back. Didn't hear anything so I called back May 25th. Spoke to someone again who asked me to text my model number and address. May 26th I sent a text asking if someone was coming. I got a one word reply "Monday". I sent a text on Monday asking when I could expect someone and didn't receive a reply. I called first thing the next morning May 31st (Tuesday) and the fellow said he would be at my house in the afternoon at around 2 or 3pm. When no one arrived I phoned again at 4:40pm and the fellow said he would see where the tech was and call me back. A few minutes later I got a text saying they were sorry but got overbooked and didn't want to lose my business but I would have to call someone else. I hope they don't treat all new customers this way. If you can't do the job just say so up front so you don't waste people's time waiting around for you.
