We entered into a contract with Rinaldi Homes in good faith, unfortunately we have had a horrible, extremely frustrating experience. Currently, we are taking this builder to small claims court as are six of our neighbors ( yes, that is 6, with more planning on doing the same). This contractor has made no efforts to resolve the situation, emails, calls are not answered. I have been shocked that a builder would treat his customers with such a lack of respect. This should have been a simple situation to resolve (involves the return of $1000 deposit), instead the builder has decided to create a mountain of ill will by not returning our money. This has become a matter of principle as the $1000 deposit is our money, not Rinaldi's.

I would like to recommend Nickerson's Appliance, St. Catherines. We purchased all of the appliances for a new home. We dealt with Chris and he was great. You can tell the quality of a company when you run into problems. We ordered an LG washer/dryer (not recommended) and couldn't stand constant loud gurgling sound. Chris worked with LG to get them to take the units back, we are sure that this would not have happened without his intervention. Nickerson's does take customer satisfaction seriously. We are very happy with the replacement units, and love the other appliances that we purchased (Bosch).

I recently purchased a new furnace and air conditioner from IRFAN - A Plus Air Systems Inc - (Home Depot). I would highly recommend working with Irfan, you always know how good a company is when something goes wrong. In our case there was a mix-up in the date of the install. Irfan resolved the situation promptly and offered us Home Depot gift card for the inconvenience. The workers who came worked hard, from 9:30 am to 8:30pm on a Friday.
