I had several electrical issues that involved some tricky connections -- old wiring, too-short connecting wires, corroded fixtures. Yunior was terrific -- did everything quickly, efficiently, and with great good humour. I plan to use the company again to upgrade my service.

My roof was leaking badly, and I was having trouble finding anyone to come look at it right away. Michael and Shay took a look, gave me a fast quote after showing me pictures of the issues, and then covered us up until they could get the work done. The fall is roofers' busiest time, of course, so we had to wait a week or so until they could get to us, but in the meantime we were safe and dry. Once they started the work, their crew was polite, clean, and hard-working -- some of them even worked on Thanksgiving weekend to move the job along. They discovered they didn't need to do some of the work they'd expected, so they came in under quote as well, which was pretty great. So we now have an attractive and guaranteed water-proof roof. And their clean-up was excellent.

Couldn't get the broiler off or the oven on -- something had fused in the controls. Garnet, who had previously demonstrated a strong knowledge of all kinds of appliances as well as a deep respect for older, more solidly built machines, was lovely -- actually able to fix an elderly clothes washer so that it's held up for years longer, and managing to get the oven essentially functional just before Christmas, when there was no chance of replacing the thing before the family Christmas dinner. What a lifesaver! Or at least a holiday-saver!

We went in just as the store was closing, and the proprietor sweetly let us look around anyway. He has a huge collection of knickknacks, oddities, wood pieces, art, and china, and is wonderfully informative about his items, from Raj oil lamps to modern religious icons. I would go there again in an instant -- his prices were reasonable, and he was helpful and friendly.

I had called 4 different appliance repair people to fix my dryer -- one person was going on holiday, one was too busy, and the others never bothered to call or email back. Aubrey came to look at the dryer the same day. He brought a blanket to lay down to protect my floors, and he set about fixing the dryer. He showed me what was wrong, fixed it, asked for my vacuum, cleaned up all the bits and pieces as well, and the dryer was as good as new. He gave some advice about venting, and also warned about my clothes washer, saying he knew the model and it would require some babying to make it last. I was impressed from start to finish, and would cheerfully use Aubrey's services again, or recommend him to others.

These guys were fast, straightforward, and cost-effective. Loved them! They supplied before-and-after pictures to let us see what the problem was; they saved us many dollars as we discovered through them that we could patch the roof instead of replacing it.

I was very pleasantly impressed with the speed of the company's response. 40 minutes from emergency call to service visit! They were first and fastest. After some questioning and a slight misunderstanding, Michael took the time to explain the possible fixes. We opted for the least expensive solution, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Given the speed and effectiveness of the work, we would use WaterWorks again. Rossanna at the head office was a constructive participant also, very helpful and very proud of WaterWorks.

I've been looking for a reasonable roofing quote for a while, and got no response from two companies and a ridiculous quote from a third -- then MrRoofRepair.ca returned my message in minutes, told me the roof could be patched temporarily while awaiting the proper repair (and that I didn't need a whole new roof, which another company had tried to pitch). They sent me pictures of the roof before and after the patch -- great idea! I have my quote for the full repair -- the whole thing cost far less than the quotes I'd had from a contractor. Thank you!!
