I hired this company after the checking the reliable reviews in HomeStars. I needed a fence as my house is a corner lot and located just behind a school. Kids with their parents and dogs, cut through my lawn and would walk right outside our front door every single day. Having spent a lot for an irrigation system and the weekly professional maintenance of our lawn, I feel so annoyed by this daily occurrence and for dogs peeing and pooping in my lawn. We decided to invest a substantial amount of money to build a fence in our front yard. The work took about 2 months because the company had to manufacture the exact specs of the fence. We are extremely happy with the design that we chose even if it wasn't the most expensive one. Everyone in the company is courteous and professional starting from Mariya and the rest of the crew. We had a little problem with the irrigation pipe that broke as a result of digging the ground to install the posts. There was a water leak on one of the posts and the water wasn't flowing to the sprinkler heads. I sent an email on a Sunday night so they could read it first thing on Monday morning. I was surprised to get a reply from Yevgeniy at 9pm Sunday. They sent an irrigation company to fix the problem and by noon on Monday, my sprinkler system worked perfectly again! I hired Green Valley Irrigation to do our lawn sprinkler because of the good reviews here at Home Stars. I was not disappointed with my decision because John was very nice when he came to give the estimates. The work was done as scheduled and his team was very courteous and attentive to our needs. I needed to do some programming changes for time and days and got so confused so I had to call John twice. He was always there to assist me and walked me through the process. At this very dry summer, my grass is the only one in our block that is green. I would have rated this a 10 if not for the email that John promised to send to me which I'm still waiting to receive. Thank you!

My husband and I are very pleased with the work done in the basement of our 2-year old house. If you want to deal with a professional company that provides excellent work and craftsmanship, you should not look anywhere else. The people that we dealt with in this company were all very courteous and accommodating. The tradesmen were all hardworking and polite. While all requests for changes may be done with the office, there will be immediate response if you talk to directly to the tradesmen (with Yuri as an excellent spokesperson for the group). Nikolai, the foreman (I'm guessing) always shows his friendly smile so you would feel that you're in good hands. We never felt uneasy with the team working all day in our house while we are out. The master electrician provided us with a clear electrical plan and he would tell you upfront the additional costs for any extra options that you might have so you'd know if you're working within the budget. The plumber coordinates perfectly on bathroom issues even if you're away from the house. The work was completed in 2 weeks and 2 days to be exact! Thanks, Finished Basement team!

Our floor shower faucet needed repair as water was dripping like crazy. As a Mr. Rooter member, I know that I will be given priority in a service call like this aside from the usual discount that members enjoy. Chris came at the appointed time. What I thought was an easy job turned out to be quite complicated due to a bad repair done by another contractor a couple of years ago. On the same visit, Chris had to make two separate trips to get the parts needed to replace our tub spout. And he always came back with a smiling face and with a solution to our problem. Also, I couldn't thank him much for locating the water switch in our basement storage amidst a rubble of boxes and computer junks. And I didn't hear a complaint from him despite this extra work that he had to do. The job was completed in a few hours. I hope that other service contractors will have people as dedicated, cheerful and customer-focused as Chris Cochrane of Mr. Rooter.
