Update-I received the full refund in summer 2023, they were apologetic and the matter is closed. ***** I cant comment on the quality of the work, as we did not get that far. We canceled our order because the fireplace we ordered would not fit. Peter, the owner, returned only $2000 of $9356 deposit, despite numerous promises to refund the money less a restocking fee. We are now in the process of taking him to small claims court for the full $7356 balance. Its been a terrible year and a half long process. Its unconscionable to take money from a customer and not return the deposit. He admits and agrees that he owes us the money, yet he refuses to pay. I would absolutely discourage anyone from doing business with Fireplace Concepts.
