Seven years ago AC Electrical replaced some old knob and tube wiring in our house. Recently I put up some new porch lights and had some concerns about the lack of electrical boxes. Nick came over and explained that the wire connections could be made between the brick wall and the light canopies since the materials were not combustible. He ended up hooking the lights up for me for free, even though he didn't have to do that. I was impressed that the company stood by its work.

We had disgusting black sludge blocking our basement floor drains. We called Oleg and he came the same day to give a free estimate, even though his work vehicle had broken down and had to get his wife to drive him over. He assessed the situation quickly and reassured us that it wasn't a broken main line. He flushed one drain with water and that cleared it (he wasn't going to charge us for that), but the other drain clog was more stubborn. He needed to snake it, but didn't have the equipment because he didn't have his work vehicle. He said clearing the clog with a snake would cost $150 (he also made us aware of the options if he couldn't clear the drain). He came the next day with Sergei and did the job quickly and thoroughly. The charge was exactly what he said it would be. Oleg did a wonderful job explaining the problem and how he would deal with it. He even showed me how to flush the drains so the problem wouldn't happen again. Overall, an excellent experience. I will definitely call Doctor Rooter if I have any plumbing problems in the future.
