I give HC Electrical Services my highest recommendation for their professionalism, high quality work and timely service. This fall we purchased a 100 year old home converted to a triplex. We bought knowing the house had knob and tube wiring, and had to have it all removed for insurance purposes within one month of possession. After meeting with 8 different electricians, Larry was clearly the most professional and the most reliable. Larry provided a detailed quote outlining exactly what work would be done – his price was competitive and it was a pleasure to interact with him. We had two units full of knob and tube entirely re-wired, and serviced the aluminum wiring in the third unit. Larry upgraded our service from 100 to 200 amps, and also put in sub-panels for each of our three units. They also replaced our electric baseboard heaters in the basement apartment and addition, and ran a 240v line for a dryer. Larry and his crew were 100% reliable and professional – they showed up on time every single day, and put in extra hours to do some pot lights for us (which was not in our original request). They started on the exact date we booked them, and finished the job exactly when predicted. And they did the work with minimal damage to our 100 year old plaster walls. Rafi is a totally outstanding, honest person who excels at his job. We called on him in midst of closing on our 100 year old home. Insurance was requiring us to have the boiler inspected and serviced. We called on 5 top rated Heating companies from Homestars. 4 out of 5 didn't even check if the current boiler was functioning and said we needed to replace at a cost of $13,000. Rafi came in and ACTUALLY checked the boiler, said it did need some TLC and that the emissions were high. He was hopeful that with a good cleaning it could run ok. Rafi provided us with a letter for our insurance company, came at the scheduled time, and after cleaning the boiler, it is running perfectly and we have excellent heat in our home. He takes safety very very seriously and was very patient in answering our million questions. He also bled our rads and adjusted the pressure. I give Rafi my absolute top recommendation!
