Daniel came to my home and assessed my range hood needed a new motor. I gave him the go-ahead by confirming the estimate, and he came back about a week later and installed the new motor. The installation was quite the activity as one person couldn’t do it independently, so I ended up helping out. It was quite the shoulder workout! I’m delighted with a working range hood again. My only critique would be there isn’t an excellent coordinate effort to keep me posted on the status. I had to follow up twice to figure out where the parts were and the modified invoice.

I did extensive research before choosing Star Custom Shutters to provide my entire main level with California Shutters. I received quotes from other companies and not only did Star Custom Shutters beat all their prices, they were extremely friendly and professional. They only offer wood shutters in two widths, which I prefer over the vinyl composite. I know some people say vinyl are easier to clean, but I haven't had a problem with this. They also back up their product with 25 year warranty for anything (literally!). I had 14 windows done and installation took approximately 2 hours. My only complaint would be that they are so busy that I had to wait about 2 months to get the shutters installed. It was worth the wait.
