Our overhead garage door broke on a holiday weekend. We could no longer close the door and were worried about security when we would not be at home. We left a voice message for Aurora Overhead Door on the Monday holiday. They returned our call at 7:30 am the next day; their service person was at our house by 8:15am and the garage door was fixed by 9:00am. We were thrilled by such impressive service. We have used Aurora Overhead Door in the past to install and fix our garage door. However, we use them very infrequently because their products are so good and their service is so good that the garage door is trouble free for years.

We obtained a quote from Augusta Movers because of the reviews on HomeStars and because they responded quickly to my request for a quote. We decided to use them because we wanted to use a small company, because we were impressed by the owner Dinko and because the quote was reasonable. We are very glad that we did. The three movers showed up on time and were very careful packing our furniture. They took particular care of a heavy piano (for which they required a fourth person, Dinko). At our new apartment, the movers were careful with our furniture and with the wood floor. They made sure that we were happy with the positions of the furniture and helped us to put floor protectors under the feet. The best thing about the three movers is that they were very pleasant and personable. They really seemed to care about doing a great job and about our happiness with their work. I would certainly use Augusta Movers again and would recommend them.

This is the second time that I phoned Peter about an appliance repair. In both cases he spent time helping me understand what needed to be done and the cost. In both cases he recommended that I buy a new appliance rather than carry out the repair. He gave me suggestions where to purchase what I needed. As a result, I haven't been able to give him any business yet, but I will certainly phone him when I next need an appliance repair. I am very impressed with Peter's customer service and integrity.

Aurora Overhead Door recently provided the most trouble free service that I have had in a long time. They installed my garage door opener 25 years ago. When it developed a problem recently, they quickly returned my phone call and explained my options. I chose to purchase a new garage door opener with better safety and other features than my old one. The price in real dollars was lower than the price 25 years ago. The installer arrived at the time specified, did the installation taking into account where we wanted the controls, and made other safety suggestions for us to consider doing ourselves. It was a pleasure doing business with Aurora Overhead Door and I would certainly recommend them.
