I had a few plumbing jobs to be done -- replace a toilet, fix a burst pipe going out to our outdoor hose and replace our main shut off valve. Andrzej and his son Alex arrived on time, were very courteous -- they took care to put on indoor booties and left their work areas spotless-- and explained all the work to be done before starting. I would highly recommend them.

So... I contacted White Shark to do the following: Clean out our eavestroughs, clean out windows-- inside, outside and screens. I got a quote for all of the above. However when I returned home, my windows were still dirty (see picture). Upon emailing White Shark (derek@whiteshark.ca), I got no answer. After a month, I emailed back to understand why they did not clean my windows as requested (and quoted on). I got a phone call from Nadia (nadia@whiteshark.ca). She agreed that they did not do the inside of the windows. But that was not was requested. I sent the email with the original request and quote which indicates inside of window. "Oh, well, we missed that. But you didn't pay for it any way." Umm... but my windows are still very dirty. There are spiderwebs inside my windows. That's really the main reason I wanted them cleaned thoroughly. I still can't see clearly through my windows. Isn't that the point of getting them cleaned? "Well, we get all sorts of different requests. We can come back and clean them. For another $100." ???? No discount, no apology. Just-- we didn't do it and that's that. They have no problem sending me constant emails reminding me to pay my $300 invoice. I will probably do the right thing and pay up although I feel really ripped off-- my windows are not clean!! I also find it odd that at no point while they were removing the screens to clean them, they didn't think-- hey-- shouldn't we at least ask if they want the inside of the windows cleaned??? Would have been a upsell opportunity at the very least. Very disappointed and will never recommend White Shark. Absolute crap service.

In addition to completing the job on time as promised Kiya, made sure we understood all the work we were doing. Perhaps most impressive was the fact that he came back the day after at our request to ensure that his work was not responsible for a purely coincidental leak. He not only checked his work with genuine concern but diagnosed - AND FIXED - the real problem as a courtesy. Hard to find guys like this. Kiya will be our first choice for all electrical jobs going forward. Highly recommend.

We really wanted glass mosaic tile for our kitchen backsplash and found that Tile City had the cheapest on offer by far. Definitely worth checking out-- they don't have some of the more exotic tiles, but they have a good selection of the more common/popular tiles.

We hired Hobson Landscapes to completely dismantle our existing front deck and pathway. Ted and company did a fantastic job of listening to us and what we were looking for-- we ended up with a great looking front deck that includes a screened off area for our recycling/garbage bins. Additionally, they did a great job on our new stone pathway and retaining wall for the garden. Would highly recommend Hobson landscapes for professional workmanship, detailed drawings, and clear estimates/quotes. Very happy with the end product and looking forward to getting Ted back over in the spring to help us landscape our new front yard.

We discovered a sewage backup in our basement washroom-- within half an hour of calling Drainworks, they were on the scene! Mike Dunn and team were incredibly courteous, professional and kept us informed of the problem and the work required to fix the immediate problem (blockage) and put in long term solution (replace the old clay trap with 2 PVC cleanouts.
