I called Danny after reading his reviews with a 10 star rating at HOMESTARS. He responded to my inquiry by first asking several questions as to my problem, which was sinking paving on an extension made to the Driveway approx 4 years ago, when ever a Service Truck put weight on this area. He immediately stated that there was insufficient sub base, and said the extension would have to be lifted. He also gave a price for the work site unseen. Within two days he visited, confirmed his assessment and firmed up his price as originally outlined. He requested permission to raise a portion of the asphalt, confirmed that there was very little stone before reaching clay, but there was 4 inches of asphalt of a crumbly consistency. He then took off the complete extension with a Pickaxe and Hammer normally requiring a machine. This was Friday, he said he could not work Monday as the Asphalt Plant was closed but Tuesday morning got a call to say he would arrive before noon. He added stone re compacted the area and laid out the asplalt which was so hot coming out of his heated trailer it was sizzling. ( original asphalt was delivered in a Dump Truck at the end of the day.) There was some asphalt left in the box , so Danny laid strip by the edge of the Garage were some subsidence had occurred. Danny has just finished the sealing of the Driveway, now its like NEW. Job well done all within a week,
