We needed to install a patio and some wooden steps in the backyard and decided to go with Hawksdale after getting 3 quotes since I felt most comfortable with Anthony and their prices seemed reasonable. The estimate we got was lower than the actual price, but it wasn't substantially higher. Anthony provided us with quotes for several options, which was nice. There was also a bit more effort required since Hawksdale doesn't do the carpentry and we had to work with Anthony from Forest Grove (also a pleasant guy to work with). This meant an additional onsite appointment and quote. The actual work started later that originally estimated (by about 2 weeks). Once the work started, it was completed efficiently and with minimal disturbance. Anthony was able to install stone from any company that we chose (we went with Oaks). The guys that came in were super friendly, worked hard, created very little mess and cleaned up afterwards. Anthony was in touch with us if they couldn't come in because of weather. Hawksdale accommodated some last minute changes and charged a reasonable price for it. Overall, we were happy with the service and the final product. The project took a bit longer to complete because it was done in two parts by two parties, but I fully appreciated that Hawksdale focuses on what they do best and referred us to another company that specializes in carpentry. The result is a well constructed patio and wood steps. I recommend this company to others looking to install something similar.

One of the reasons I contacted Ragin for a Tempstar AC estimate was because his website was fully transparent about the estimated cost of a typical install. He arrived on time for an onsite estimate and was the only contractor who considered the size of the duct work when recommending the size of the AC unit. Ragin arrived a few days later for the installation and took me through the process of the install step by step. He also answered any questions I had including what was being done and how to maintain the equipment. The quality of his work is exceptional and I am extremely happy with the results.

Mike the painter (and Jen) provided prompt and professional service throughout. They painted the majority of our home quickly and flawlessly. They were also very accommodating to the changes we requested several times while the work was being done. The whole house was painted within a week and just in time for our move. We cannot be any happier with the results and highly recommend their services to everyone. Mike and Jen were a pleasure to work with.
