My wife and I recently moved into a west-end condo, and low and behold, we have silverfish. I understand how everyone in Vancouver has these guys, but I’m not charging them rent, or claiming them as dependents on my taxes, so I wanted them gone. I found Rob on Homestars and he lives up to his reviews. I must have contacted him numerous times prior to my appointment, and he always took the time to answer my inquires (despite bugging him 3 times a day). He arrived on time and was very kind, courteous, and easy to get along with. When you meet Rob, you feel like he’s an old friend, just coming over to kill all your pests for you. He is also very reasonably priced and offers additional services and information. My wife and I are planning to have Rob come back every a few times a year to make sure these little B’strds stay gone for good. Thanks Rob!

I attempted to re-caulk my shower, and it went horribly wrong. I then was in need of someone to fix my mistake and do the job right. Insert Ben from New Wesminster Handyman Service. He got back to me quickly and arranged a time to meet with me. He was very polite, professional, and did a great job. If you are looking for a handyman, I would recommend Ben. He won't tell you he can do something if he can't, and is very reasonable in terms of budget, including set rates for most household things.

I first found NuPhase Electric on Homestars. They had a lot of great reviews, so I thought I would give them a shot, and let me tell you, they didn't disappoint. I had two 20 yr old bathroom fans that needed to be replaced. It wasn't an easy job. And from the first time I spoke with Niel over the phone, I could tell he knew his stuff. He showed up with everything he needed to get the job done. He was aware of my budget and my concerns and worked with me on making sure I got the best job done in the most reasonable budget possible. Not only was Niel knowledgeable but he wasn't like normal contractors. He was extremely friendly, and very easy to get along with. Not only did he do a great job, but I feel that I have made a friend. I will definitely be calling Neil and NuPhase for all of my electrical needs.
