Get Reno renovated a 2nd floor washroom for me and they were on time and on budget. I have had some bad experiences with contractors in the past, and did not believe it was possible to get the level of service I received from Get Reno. They provided an estimate with a written contract and left it with me to review and didn’t pressure me. They discussed the reasons for the renovation with me and asked me my preferences. They provided a clear breakdown of all costs and kept all the suggested material below the allocated allowance, because I expressed that was important to me. They said the renovation would take 3 weeks. They worked in my home for a total of 14 business days. The main contractor Rueben was phenomenal! At the end of the first day, he made sure I had his phone number in case there were any issues and told me that NO other workers would every come to my home unless he informed me first, so I should never let in anyone who claimed to be with the crew or “just picking up something.” I was blown away! I have never experience such professionalism and respect for my home and safety from a contractor. At the end of each day, Rueben would show me the work he had completed that day, and told me what he planned to work on the next day and confirmed what time to expect him to return. He always left his workspace clean and neat, and when he wasn’t working, you couldn’t tell there was a renovation in progress. But the most important thing is that my new bathroom is BEAUTIFUL. The level of workmanship far exceeds all my expectations. I can’t find a single defect in any of the work. They fixed cracks in the wall, an uneven floor, mold in the shower, and questionable electrical. They put in details I was not expecting like putting the lights on 2 separate switches and a shampoo shelf in the shower. I was am so impressed with the attention to detail. The bathroom looks like it belongs in a show home, and we absolutely love it! Lupo and Rueben were so easy to work with. They answered all of my questions, checked in with me often, and were always so pleasant to every member of my family. I have already recommended Get Reno to everyone I know who is considering work in their home, and I personally with never hire any other contractor as long at Get Reno is available

I purchased a 30 year old town home and renovated the kitchen and basement. When I had the a/c unit inspected at the start of the summer, the tech told me that the ducts were filthy and I and my toddler would breathe better if I got them cleaned. I have allergies and I was sneezing more than usual this year so I thought this made sense. I found the Duct Cleaning Experts on Homestars.com that night and was impressed with the reviews and the company's website. So I filled out the request for appointment and the very next day (which was a Saturday) I received info on the service I requested and an appointment confirmation for a date I had selected. My appointment was between 2 & 4 pm. I was expecting the techs to arrive between those times. Mark and Marlon arrived promptly at 2 and were finished before 4 pm. When they arrived, they explained what they were going to do, and what parts of my home they would need to access. As soon as Mark entered the utility room, he could tell that the decks in my home had NEVER been professionally cleaned. that convinced me that I was dealing with an experienced professional. He took a picture of the inside of one of my vents and I was shocked to see the dust and debris that was inside. They even found a large ball of steel wool that the previous owners had stuffed inside the vents for some reason! The product that they use to clean out the vents had a mild, not unpleasant odour, and 6 hours later, I have not sneezed once, which is a HUGE improvement, and neither has my son. Mark explained what they found and where they cleaned and and even told me what I need to do to maintain a clean air system in the future. I was really pleased and impressed with this company from start to finish. I have already recommended them to a family member and will use them again every time I need my ducts cleaned.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Don from structurally sound. He explained the survey process to me and taught me a lot about my new home. I really liked that once he completed his inspection of each floor in the home, he went over his findings with me and my family and gave us an opportunity to ask questions. I also really appreciate that he pointed out potential safety hazards that could endanger my child in the future, so that I can address them. I would confidently recommend Don to anyone looking for a home surveyor. The report he provides is simple to read and very useful.
