Kitchen and bathroom tiling, vinyl floor installation
The salesman who came to do the initial estimate underquoted significantly. An installer came out to start the tiling in the kitchen floor then left claiming he couldn't do it because the subfloor was not sufficient (which the salesman should have determined on the first site visit). That first installer was also very rude and dismissive. The marble floor in the bathroom was not sealed after installation- as a result, when they did come and seal it (after I brought up the etched surface), it was too late. The finish is quite irregular, looks etched and is not glossy like I wanted. The installer for the kitchen backsplash did not arrive within the agreed upon time frame. Someone was meant to be there between 8-10. No one arrived until after 11. Communication problems apparently. The tile in bathrooms was not siliconed after installation. The installer neglected to tell me that the shower fixtures needed to be changed before the tile went in which necessitated me paying a plumber extra to come for a second visit and he had to access the plumbing from the kitchen side of the wall. The salesman also promised he would personally secure the bathroom vanity and mirror to the wall in the bathroom as I was concerned about drilling through the tile. He later reneged on this promise and I had to pay someone to do that. Payment was processed on my credit card prior to work being completed without contacting me prior. It's been extremely frustrating dealing with this company and every time I call, it seems like no one has any idea what's going on. In the end, I simply accepted the damaged flooring because I was tired of dealing with their incompetence. There is dismal communication within the company and most employees are completely incompetent. Avoid this company at all costs!!

I apologize that you are not satisfied with the transaction that took place. When our installer began working on your home he recommended that replacing the existing subfloor would provide a more lasting installation. While we discussed this was not necessary it was presented as an option and agreed upon. The silicone was left until the completion of the project as is normally done last. this particular project was done in more than one stage and has since been taken care of. With respect to your shower fixtures the choice to replace these is unrelated to the tiling installation and this should be researched before hand often people hire a contractor which we can recommend. Each fixture is different and this has nothing to do with our scope of work. I spoke to Paul and our service dept. regarding the installation of your mirror and vanity and while this is not something that is recalled in our conversations or outlined in our itemized contract we would have been happy to help out if you had called.
THe marble flooring was supplied by yourself not our company and is low quality and poorly filled / sealed. We spend additional time and hours to try and make it look as best as possible without any additional charges passed along. We had since offered if there was anything further we could help out with.
