When the 50-year-old addition to this heritage home began to collapse on its rubble foundation, it triggered a complete gut and rebuild of the entire space, including the addition of a second bathroom and finished office / guest suite in the basement. Chris Stewart of Stewartbuilt was extraordinarily painstaking and devoted to doing the job right ... even after a long series of unpleasant surprises, from a much more difficult demolition to the need to replace all the plumbing and some wiring, the huge (14") lift eventually required on the addition and the additional challenge of this being a semi and the resulting risk to the attached home. The job was painfully protracted and his patience didn't waver, despite problems with some trades, who were not so patient or attentive. The finished result is visually stunning and amazingly functional, especially the gorgeous "IKEA-hack" kitchen,. I highly recommend Stewartbuilt's work.

I have dealt with this company for many years and am very satisfied with their customer service, especially the technical team. A great company I would highly recommend to friends.
