I used the Homestars service to get several quotes for scraping and resodding approximately 885 SF of my backyard. One general construction was one of several who responded and provided a competitive quote. I chose them after a lower bid did not respond with a time and contract. Atta was prompt and responsive, provided a definitive date. On the date he and his helper showed up on time, were communicative and told me what to expect. The two-day job included moving my furniture to make a pathway for his equipment, scraping the old overburden with a bobcat, removing it to a bin, and prepping the site. the bin was removed the next day and new topsoil and sod was installed. Atta made sure that the sod was properly watered, the furniture placed, and all the dirt and mud was cleaned off of my patio, driveway and walkways. The site was perfectly clean and my neighbours had no complaints. Great work Atta, happy to recommend you in future work.

We had an existing awning where the fabric was becoming faded and mildewed. The frame and the shape of the frame / awning was fine, we just needed new fabric. Several companies quoted a complete replacement at thousands more when all we needed was just a new fabric. Enter Omnimark who was the only one I could find that would provide this service and at a reasonable price. Their people promptly picked up the awning on time and returned it as promised. Friendly staff. I have recommended it to others looking for the same service.

The house we bought was tenanted so we couldn't bring any contractors to see it pre-closing. Then there were only 3.5 weeks between closing and our move-in date. Bolstered by the good reviews, I said "yes, can you start asap?" Somehow Patrick and his crew managed to fit me in despite his own busy schedule, arriving very early or coming back very late, and coordinating with my painter. Patrick and his crew are not just expert but also hardworking even skipping breakfast on Saturday morning to work on my house (hope the coffee and pastries helped!) Thanks Patrick!
