This is the third time weve used Remodel Construction. Weve always had a good experience with them so when we decided to get a new front door, they were our obvious choice. The actual installation took about 3 hours. The installers made quick work of removing our old door and spent time meticulously installing the new one, including the inside trim around the door which had been provided by Chris so that it would match the trim around other doors in the house. The installers even replaced the old aluminum siding above the door with a more modern looking piece. The following day Chris man (the other Chris) came and completed the installation, painting the trim and taking care to make sure it all looked perfect. Everything looks great and we are really pleased. We plan to use Remodel Construction for a future kitchen renovation and would have no hesitation in recommending them for any construction job you may have.

We hired All Pro to redo all of our front and side walkways in interlocking brick. Angelo and his crew did a beautiful job that was beyond our expectations. We now have a welcoming front entryway with a garden, in addition to attractive pathways on each side of the house and a matching border around our backyard deck. We were impressed with the precision and attention to detail, and thanks to their planning and efficiency, the job was completed in the promised time frame (our thanks to Dan, Zack, Nick and Marcus). Leading the team, Dan was great at communicating with us throughout the design and execution. They also did a great job of tidying up after every working day, which was much appreciated. Some of our neighbours have made positive comments and asked for their names. We are extremely happy with their work and would recommend them whole heartedly.

We hired Remodel Construction to redo our main bathroom. This is our second project with them, after doing such a great job last year on a major renovation to our house. Just like last year, we had initial discussions with owner Chris Clarke as to our requirements and he had helpful suggestions to help us make design decisions. The project involved replacing an old vanity with a new one custom made to fit our space. Our old tub and tiled shower was replaced with a new sleek tub/shower with cultured marble walls and ceiling. They also replaced old pot lights, installed all new fixtures, and re-painted the bathroom. The final result was a beautiful new bathroom that we are very happy with. The job was completed in the estimated two weeks, even with unexpected extra work - when some rotting wood (from old leaks) and incorrect wiring was discovered. Chris and his crew are excellent at communicating and consulting with the client on every detail and choice. We have no hesitation in recommending Remodel Construction. Chris and the gang are very pleasant to work with, and their standard of work is consistently excellent.

We needed our ducts cleaned after a major reno, and Green & Spotless were quick to respond and scheduled an appointment within days. Devon and Alec were friendly and professional. They arrived exactly when they said they would, explained everything they were doing, and were careful to protect our home. The whole procedure was painless and efficient and our house even smells fresh! We're very happy we chose them and highly recommend them.

We hired Remodel Construction for a major renovation of our bungalow. In addition to a complete overhaul of two bathrooms, they installed new hardwood floors on the main floor and vinyl flooring in the basement. They expanded the opening in a dining room wall (which involved adding support to floor joists), and put in all new doors, casings, and baseboards on the main floor. They also installed new lighting, painted the hallways and living/dining room, and removed old wallpaper from the foyer. From the beginning, we knew we were in good hands when owner Chris managed to answer so many questions and issues in the first meeting. His thorough approach to planning, and attention to detail are all part of his total professionalism. This was the most ambitious home project we had ever done, but the continuous level of communication we had with Chris and his team made us feel at ease at every stage. He was receptive to changes and requests, and always able to offer helpful advice. Chris even split the work schedule into two parts, allowing us to remain in the house during the bathroom and basement projects, and only vacate for the upstairs floor work. This made it much easier for us to remove furniture and do any necessary preparations. The workmanship was first-rate and evident in every small detail. His team is highly-skilled, diligent, and professional. They took every measure to keep the workspace clean, and showed a respect for our home that gave us total confidence. We were also appreciative of their adherence to Covid protocols. Their working style made the whole process a positive experience, and the end result was perfection – professionally cleaned and ready for us to move back in. We definitely intend to use them again on any project in the future.

We had KP Construction build us a new deck with a permanent gazebo. This involved removing our old inter-locking brick patio and using composite boarding for the new deck. The preliminary design phase was helpful, with suggestions from Konstantin rounding out our initial concept. The initial technical drawings followed by the 3D design pictures provided as part of the process are extremely helpful in finalizing the desired outcome before proceeding with the build. He was also able to accommodate our wish for an adjustable louvered privacy screen on the gazebo. We found Konstantin and his crew to be very professional and hard-working. The workmanship and attention to detail taken by all those involved was exceptional, and it showed in the final results – which was a solid and beautifully finished structure. A complete clean-up was done afterwards, including removal of the inter-locking bricks from the old patio. We are very happy with our new deck and gazebo, and would recommend KP Construction for such projects.

We needed to replace the old eavestroughs on our bungalow, and also remove the downpipes from going into the weeping tiles. John was the most prompt in answering our message and came prepared for the meeting with various helpful brochures. He took us around the house and analyzed the problems with our current setup, and then described in detail how he would re-arrange it so the downpipes were moved to locations that we would be happy with. We appreciated the fact that he was honest with us about which products we needed, and which ones would be unnecessary and high maintenance. We interviewed other companies who also made good impressions, but John was the best at communicating with us on every detail of the job – and that was very important to us. (We also liked the fact that he teaches his craft at Durham College.) Our expectations were more than fulfilled when the crew arrived for the job. The team was efficient and friendly, and the whole job only took about 2 hours. The new eavestroughs look great, and the hinged downpipes are very neat. John even had them do some recaulking on our front window – which had nothing to do with the eaves, but he had noticed it on his previous visit. It was a happy experience and we are definitely going to recommend them to our neighbours and friends.

- Just had a brand new furnace,A/C,and water heater installed by Northwood, and we highly recommend them. They provided more service for a lesser price than others we got quotes from (including duct cleaning). Gary and the crew (and Josie at home base) were among the best people we have ever hired, and it was a very positive experience. Their work was neat and meticulous, and there seemed to be no problem they couldn't solve. We were also impressed with the additional improvements they made to our ductwork and air returns - at no extra charge. We're looking forward to a continuing relationship with them for yearly servicing.
