We renewed our contract with Hometurf Lawn Care again this fall for next year. Two years ago we signed up in order to control weeds and have the proper fertilizer applied by a professional lawn care service company. Our lawn has been healthier and the weeds are much less common. Combined with the cooler and wetter weather our grass thickened up a lot this past summer and the lawn mower got its workout cutting the lawn every week since May as well! Its important to note that as a home owner I still have lots to do around the yard through the spring, summer and fall and that by using the Hometurf's lawn care service time spent weeding has been reduced significantly.

Our house is only 12 years old but the original attic insulation had not been installed in a uniform way and was thin in many areas. We had an energy audit completed and the attic insulation was an area that was identified for improvement. Wojtek from EcoComfort came out to provide us with a quote and was prompt in providing a written quote outlining he work that included adding insulation and improving ventilation through the addition of soffit vents. We also had another quote but decided to go with Eco Comfort based on the better (lower) quote and great reviews. About a week later we scheduled the job and Tom and Paul came and completed the work. They were professional, organized and cleaned-up thoroughly, both inside and outside our house. Thanks for the great job!

I needed to re-shingle and re-sheath my roof and improve the ventilation of my attic. Roofs on Homes was one of the companies recommended via a colleague involved in insurance claims. Danny came out, completed an inspection and provided a detailed quote at a fair price. Danny also had all the company licencing and insurance in order which is very important when hiring a contractor. I received other quotes that were higher but the reviews on Home Stars sealed the deal and turned out to be accurate.. Danny was very prompt and great at keeping me updated on the schedule and progress of work. A few adjustments including types of roof vents and colour-matched flashing were easily accommodated. Chuck and the crew were friendly. They efficiently completed the job. They cleaned up exceptionally well, leaving the property without a trace of construction materials or garbage.
