I bought a Kitchen Aid dish washer and Electrolux all fridge and freezer from Trail about 2 years ago I had it arrive early as to cabinets had to be installed around it and i wanted it on site to measure. I keep the protective wrap on during this time and had a professional company doing the work but when we too off the wrap he was a slight imperfection on the door. Trail would do nothing and made me get a hold of the manufacturer which also would do nothing sense this wasn't report right at delivery. Lesson learned. fast forward 2 years and the dishwasher has quit it was to top of the line panel ready one for that year. Call trail as we had bought what the sales man called the additional 3 year in home service warranty. I did ask him if this was through trail and was told Yes. Can you imagine my surprise when I call trail and found that it is a third party that does this not them as promised. A just to make matters better they tell me that they only cover the parts I'm going to have to shell out a minimum of $120.00 in labour. The news just gets better iI have been told that one of the parts isn't in stock any where and that whirlpool Canada will have to order it in and this could take 2-8 weeks. The worst part is i sent one of my best friends their and he spent about 10K on new appliances on his kitchen and he too go the warranties and I double check they told him the same thing that this was their own in home service warranty and the work was done buy them. Lesson learned i would have been better off to buy at the brick
