As I was aware that my current furnace was nearing the end of its life, I decided to replace it before the start of the winter. After extensively researching furnaces and getting several quotes, I chose Cozy Comfort Plus. I found the company on HomeStars, liked the reviews and contacted them. I felt very comfortable with Brian. He came to the house to make sure that his quote would be accurate and that there would be no unexpected issues. He was very knowledgeable, instilled confidence, advised on venting issues for the existing water heater and open to discuss various options available to me at this moment. I found his quote fair and felt that, based on the company website, profile and reviews, the company would be there for me should issues arise in the future. The installers Hamid and Amir did a great job. I highly recommend Cozy Comfort Plus.

This is the 5th year that I have hired Parkers Window Cleaning to clean my eavestroughs and flat roofs in late fall. I have always been happy with the service provided. They have accommodated my request to have their staff use ladders with wings and perform the work manually, rather than use leaf blowers. This year Ryan came to do the work. He did an amazing job. He was friendly, respectful and extremely thorough. He made sure that the eavestroughs, downspouts, flat roofs were clean and cleaned up everything before he left. and the flat roofs were clean.

I chose Glenwood Tree Service to prune the very big locust tree in my backyard. The job included removing branches reaching low over the roof and removing deadwood. Brian arrived with 3 other crew members at exactly the time that I was given and they worked professionally and tirelessly until the work was done. They cleaned up the backyard, walkway and driveway well. I am very satisfied with their work and would highly recommend them.

I found Vule Tile on HomeStars when looking for a tiling contractor to repair the shower floor in my son’s condo. I was present when Vule and his team did the work. They arrived on time, in a well organized truck, were very professional and instilled confidence that we had chosen the right company. From the moment they entered the condo they rolled out the drop sheets and were extremely careful, protecting the work areas, the condo, the corridors and the elevators. Vule went out of his way to resolve an unexpected issue. The shower with its new floor looks beautiful. We highly recommend Vule Tile.

On Apr. 6, while I was at work, the load side conductor in my electrical box on the outside wall of my house blew apart and a hole burnt in the bottom of the meter base. Toronto Hydro, who came by at 10.30 pm on this rainy, cold and windy night and made the site safe, informed me that I needed to call an electrician to do the repairs. I had partial power (lights in some rooms) but the furnace and all appliances did not work. The next morning, Friday, Apr. 7 (before the weekend) I looked for an electrician, who would come on a short notice, and found Mr. Electric. I like the reviews and decided to give them a call. They had never done any work for me but said that they would send an electrician within 1 hour. Adrian arrived within one hour. From the moment he knocked on my front door, assessed the problem and discussed the issue with me I knew that I was in good hands. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and explained in detail what needed to be done. He and the staff in the office made immediate arrangements with Toronto Hydro to have the power disconnected and to source the right box and supplies needed for the repair. Adrian worked diligently all afternoon, even wanted to wait until Toronto Hydro would come back to reconnect the power. He also replaced a switch in my laundry room. I highly recommend Mr. Electric and their electrician Adrian to anybody who needs electrical work done. Doris Ibrahim
