Installed new glass railings on front porch. Michael is super responsive from arranging the initial measurements to installation within 3-4 weeks of ordering. Installers were skilled, quick and cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely recommend the company to others as it was stress free dealing with them.

We chose Penguin Basement after seeing their work from a showcase near our home. We were impressed with the quality of work and material used to construct the basement. David the sales manager was pleasant to speak to and gave us many ideas how to utilize our space. We had an idea of how to design and decorate our basement, but Amy, the designer, brought it to life. We were most thankful for our project manager, Juliano. He always kept us up to date on the process of the construction and ensured all his crews show up on time and did the job well. Juliano even communicated with us through text messages while he was ill in the hospital! Now that's dedication! Although there were a few hiccups along the way, overall, we had a great experience with Penguin. Now we have a new usable space to entertain and for our girls to play.

Booked Ryan a year in advance to build us a new cedar deck. Ryan was great as he worked directly with our contractor who designed the drawings and helped us get a permit. The job started on the date as promised and Ryan provided frequent updates on progress as well as communicating potential additions/changes that I hadn't thought about beforehand. I liked that the backyard was always tidy at the end of the day as they would put all their tools away and respected the homeowners property all by themselves. Very pleased with the final product and the workmanship is top notch. Lots of positive comments around the quality and design of the deck from family and friends.

Contacted Roberto to help with my deck drawings so that I could get a permit. He was quick to reply and came out to my house within a few days to take his measurements and worked quickly on the design. He even made suggestions to my initial designs that would better utilize the space in my backyard. Also checked with the City of Markham regarding zoning restrictions and when I was satisfied with the drawings, he applied for the permit on my behalf which saved a ton of time. Would definitely recommend Roberto as he was extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. The best part was the frequent communication so you're never left in the dark wondering what is happening on the project.

Alon from Can Do did an excellent job in arranging multiple meetings with all the neighbours and answering everyone's questions. It took quite some time to get everyone to sign the contracts from the initial meeting and Alon was very patient and not pushy at all. He even helped some of the houses by presenting them with various options since some neighbours didn't want to share in the cost of putting up the fence. Once the build finally started, the fences for 28 homes were up within 2 weeks. They even met their original commitment date even though they started two weeks later than planned because not all contracts were received on time. All the neighbours I've spoken to as well as friends have been very pleased with the quality of the fence and asked which company did the work. Definitely recommend Can Do whose pricing is very fair for top quality work.

I am very satisfied with the outdoor potlights and the team that came to do the installation was great also. They were very efficient, provided recommendations on the locations to install the lights and professional in their work. I highly recommend Hotwire for potlights and lighting needs.

Absolutely amazed with the iron railings installed outside on our front porch. Can tell other neighbors are passing by just to check them out. Alex was extremely helpful from my initial phone call and gave me different suggestions based on the style I was going for. Extremely prompt in answering phone calls, confirming installation and following up after the installation to make sure we are satisfied. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
