We selected Barbecues Galore for our living room fireplace because of how the Valor fireplace product met our needs and space requirements. The price of the product and install was more reasonable than the other quote that we received and we decided to go ahead. It's been a longer process than we think necessary to have the fireplace installed (about 2 months between our deposit and actually install date). We finally have an install date, however the process was unnecessarily tedious in terms of confirming our product specs, talking with different people, coordinating the design and the framing, and the install. While we believe the end product and design will be good, the process in dealing with the company left us feeling like our project was being handled and put together on the fly. Ultimately, we feel the process could be improved and more efficiently handled than it was.

We had Old West replace windows in our house, which included a very large picture window. We found the company online and were impressed with their great reviews. We got quotes from a number of companies and decided to go with Old West because of the initial impression of great customer service. Rick and the company were professional and attentive right from our initial contact with the company through to completion. From the initial visits on site, to the quote and review, to the product selection and style, Old West understood our requirements and wishes. The install team arrived right on time, and were completely prepared. They even tarped under their saws to limit the amount of debris on the driveway and shoveled up snow that was covered in sawdust. In our opinion, the install team was exceptional. They took care to protect our floors and interior while they worked inside. They were respectful of the interior and exterior spaces. And they worked incredibly hard, all the way until completion (barely stopping for breaks). They were professional, easy to talk to, and respectful. Couldn't ask for more. They proactively pointed out deficiencies that will be addressed and how (we had factory installed exterior paint on our windows and they caught it before we did, pointed it out, and how it will be remedied; and they noted missing screens that were delayed from the factory). The only minor issue was the look of the header on our picture window trim - it does not look exactly as we though it would, but it still looks great. I look forward to doing business with them in the future when we renovate our bottom floor.
