Strip and reshingle front elevation
We had a 7 year old home with curling shingles on the front elevation that ended up lifting and being blown off in bad weather! With everything you see on TV these days about contractors we were definitely apprehensive about selecting a roofing company! We contacted numerous roofers -we had a couple who wanted to charge a fee to come out to perform an estimate because we were 'out' in Milton; one who said they'd be out in a couple of weeks to do an estimate (despite telling them we thought we had exposed wood); and a couple including Contex who came out without issue. Despite Contex being slightly more expensive, we chose them initially because of the professional, friendly, and timely pre-sales support from Phil and others that we had contact with at the main office. Phil also explained they would make every effort to expedite the process given our exposed roof. Once we gave Contex the go ahead everything flowed like clock work. Did they expedite as promised? Did they ever! The dumpster and materials were delivered the next day, and the work started the day after that…on Saturday. The crew were amazing -friendly and respectful; informative and knowledgeable answering any questions asked; and man did they graft!!! They worked through until dusk leaving only a few bits and pieces to finish off. They cleaned up before leaving ~ to the point you wouldn't have known they'd been! It rained and was windy all day Sunday, but they were back first thing Monday and finished off that morning...despite the major drop in temperature! [I'm a little late in writing this review] All in all an excellent experience and we would have no reservations recommending them to family, or any one else. Any apprehension we may have had going into this quickly became admiration for a great outfit! A job well done Contex Roofing.
