Very happy with the work completed by Keith. Arrived on time and immediately got to work cleaning / inspecting my furnace before working on all my ducts. Keith provided a detailed report on furnace and made recommendation to use the less expensive fiber glass filters as the furnace was not getting enough air and overheating. I previously bought the expensive filters but this now does make sense as my furnace is older. Keith also made some other corrections to ensure most efficient air flow throughout the house. Happy to recommend to others. Worked quick but was very thorough with the job. Thank you.

Big Hill Electrical Services Just wanted to share a great experience I had with a local Cochrane Electrician company. I had an electrical issue with my bathroom and laundry room following a home DIY project I completed this weekend. I reached out to Big Hill Electrical Services to come take a look. Before attending, Harold sent me an email suggesting I try something first before they came out. I did exactly what he suggested and it worked. They did not even want to accept payment when I offered so Instead I wanted to share my very positive experience. If you need an electrician, I'd highly recommend them.

Calgary Countertops provided a fantastic service and the results are great. It really does look like real Granite and our kitchen looks modern and inviting. The team of guys who came to do the work were great, very friendly and we had some good conversations. I would totally recommend going with this company and if you have concerns,, just let Tim give you a quote and more info. He had lots of colours to choose from and we are very happy with the choice we made. In the pictures I have yet to update my cabinet door colours but once this is finished, it will look fantastic with the countertops. We recently moved into a new family home 2100 sq ft that required new siding and windows. The original siding was blue vinyl and was looking extremely dated as per the photos. Due to the cost of the project I wanted to make sure that we would use a company that did the job properly and efficiently without any major problems. I conducted countless hours of research on home stars and other means and decided to contact Boulevard Exteriors. I'm extremely grateful that I did. I did receive quotes from other companies as well be decided to go with boulevard due to their friendly open approach and positive reviews. We first had all the windows replaced which were done very quickly and efficiently. The siding took a bit longer than expected but this was due to weather and other reasons which did not bother me. As with any major project like this, there will always be minor things that crop up but Boulevard Exteriors approached each situation and dealt with any issues efficiently. The project team suggested some alterations during the project which made the end result look even better. We were updated throughout the process and they made sure that we were happy with everything taking place. Kosta and the team worked extremely hard to get the siding done properly and they put countless hours into overcoming any teething problems. The admin team were great and the exterior designer made our job of deciding on what colours so much easier, really she suggested the colours based on the information we provided and she was spot on. Overall the project has made our house looking the best on the street and several people have already asked about who did the job. Needless to say, if you want a family owned company to do a great job and not run off with your money, Boulevard is the company you will want to use. The end results will look amazing and even though you may spend a bit more, it will be worth it!...

Done Right Roofing did a fantastic job with replacing our roof. I did a lot of research to find a reliable company and contact Done Right based on the positive reviews here on Homestars. I was contacted by Chau who was amazing and it was pretty much because of her professionalism and great communications that I decided to use Done Right. Our house is a 2100 sq.ft building and on the day, about 6 people turned up and completed the project in 1 day! I came home from work, everything was cleaned up and the bin was ready to be picked up the next day. I had a look around for any nails but as yet I have not found any. Chau did also say that they could come back when the snow melts to take away any waste material but so far I can't find any. Done Right only takes payment after the project is finished and not until I was happy. I am waiting for the shingle to flatten down a bit more, once this cold weather leaves and the sun heats up the shingles, but Chau assured me that if I have any issues, they will immediately come out to assist. However, the roof looks great and I have no concerns. I would definitely recommend Done Right roofing for their customer service and quick but great work.

Having just moved into a new house I wanted to get our fireplaces looked at/cleaned as I had no idea when they were last done. Damir from Ram Cleaning services arrived on time and was extremely friendly and caring. He took a look at our first fireplace and instantly identified several problems with it. I kind of already knew about these issues but it was nice to see that he instantly recognized them and informed me about the issues. Damir was very up front and told me the fireplaces were pretty clean so there was not much for him to do and he even discounted a little because of this. Damir went as far as trying to fix the identified issues for us, the main one being the severe cold draft coming in from the un-insulated rear of the fireplace. He showed us a couple of tricks which stopped about 60 percent of the draft. Damir was extremely friendly and really came across as caring and wanting to try to solve the issues for us. I will definitely use Ram cleaning services again in the future.

We had just moved into a new house and the vents were very dirty and the furnace appeared like it had never been cleaned. I decided to go with Advanpro based on positive reviews and we were extremely happy with their service. The two gentlemen were able to come early and phoned to check if this was ok which it was. They laid down sheets so not to get dirt on the floor and also were very respectful of our living areas. Lee fully explained things they could do to keep the furnace operating well and I took pretty much all their offered options as I wanted to make sure everything was crystal clean. We probably paid more then what most people will normally but only because I took every available option to make sure our old furnace system is well looked after. I would recommend Advanpro to people seeking a reliable company.

Amazingly thorough and friendly service. James inspected a house I am currently looking at buying and I was so grateful that I decided to use his service. I knew there was some issues with the house, but James, found numerous other things that I completely missed. He is extremely detailed and even apologizes for it too. His knowledge is amazing and explains everything that he is doing. I walked around the house with James for about 4 hours and we covered pretty much everything that we could. Because of the hidden defects that James managed to find I am now able to go back tot he sellers and ask for the repairs to be done before purchasing. I would happily recommend James to inspect for you, because he really does care about looking after your investment, and is happy to take follow up questions after the inspection. If I need a home inspector in the future I will definitely use Frontline Home Inspections again, happy in the knowledge that my major purchase is the right one!
