I called Silva Taping & Drywall, and Met Romildo, who happened to be in the neighbourhood. He arrived within 5 minutes and was friendly and personable. He listened to what work I wanted completed (drywall basement ceiling and remove popcorn ceiling on main floor, skim and paint). Romildo provided a verbal quote, was back in a day or two with the contract and started the job shortly after. Romildo and crew started by 8 am the days they were on site, and did a great job of finishing the basement ceiling and first floor smooth ceilings. Both basement and first floor look amazing. I am happy with the outcome and will be doing more projects through Romildo. I can recommend Romildo and his team to anyone for basement and popcorn ceiling removal. Romildo, Sam, Flavio, thank you for a job well done and look forward to the next project.

I had been quoted by several contractors for our interlocking project over the past few years, however did not feel comfortable with any of them, until I met Tony from Duralock. Tony is very personable and makes you feel at ease. He is helpful, provides you with ideas and options and is up front and transparent about the costs. This was a huge project - they dug up the single asphalt driveway and made it a double interlocked driveway, we built a backyard patio with walls to accent the design and we also filled the sides of the house with river rock (and installed drainage). The crew were friendly and you can see that they work well as a team and enjoy their work. Even Tony the owner was on site, working the machinery to dig up the driveway. These guys are the "real deal" and the interlocking looked awesome and really enhanced the look of the house. The crew arrived on time on a Monday and completed the job within 5 days. One minor criticism was that I had requested 4 different paver sizes to be laid down on the patio, however when I arrived home on the Tuesday after work, only 3 paver sizes were used. Since the pavers were already laid down, I decided to just leave it as is, however, it was a bit of a pity, since we had waited 6 years for this project to be done. Nevertheless, the overall project looked amazing and we have had many favourable comments from neighbours and passers by. Thank you to Tony, Tony and the rest of the crew for an awesome job.
