When we lit our fireplace this season we were concerned that the fire wasn't burning hot and the smell of residual smoke seem to be quite noticeable throughout the house. We called Al back as he restored our 100 year old chimney to code a couple of seasons ago. He responded to our call immediately, booked a precise time to come by on a Saturday (great for those who work M-F). He diagnosed the problem and within a short period of time, gave us a couple of suggestions to address the situation. We had installed a new front door and had done some other energy efficient measures that had affected the draft.
