As we always do with any work project, we got three quotes before proceeding with our fence job this summer. All star wasn't the cheapest quote we got, but once we met Dan we knew he was the right guy for the job. He pointed out significant details and potential complications that the other estimators just didn't notice. When the time came to get the work done, Dan and his team did a tremendous job. They worked diligently through hot weather and sometimes rain. You could tell that doing a great job was important to them. The workmanship was top notch, and the attention to detail really shows. Our roof was only a year old but for some reason, still leaking. Our original roofer could not seem to figure out the problem. Desperate for a solution, we decided to get a second opinion from Roofs on Homes. Danny and his team showed up and assessed the problem right away. They fixed the problem and even took pictures and videos of the roof to show me what was wrong. We have not had a problem with the roof since Roofs on Homes came and fixed it. I am incredibly pleased with the service I received from this company, and in particular, Mark. On a very cold Sunday in the middle of winter, we found out that our downspout needed to be relocated on an emergency basis. As soon as I found out about the problem, I called over ten different companies that I found on Homestars, but only Mark picked up the phone. Mark was incredibly busy when we needed the work to be done, but being understanding of the emergency need, he somehow found a way to make time for us. The job was done within a couple of days (which is sooner than some of the other companies I called even called me back). Mark is a stand-up guy who is true to his word and does excellent work. Our roof leaked and water damaged our ceiling. Alex and Ervis were a pleasure to deal with. They repaired or replaced all of our ceilings, painted, and were accommodating to our tenants the entire time. Their work product was excellent and it was a hassle-free experience. I would highly recommend their services.

Our fridge at a tenanted property stopped working on a Sunday and I was calling all the appliance repair companies I could find on Homestars.com. Adriano from Noble Appliance was the only one that answered the phone on a Sunday and he showed up as promised the very next day. The fridge was fixed in no time. Adriano was prompt, polite, and honest. I would recommend Noble Appliance to anyone who needs an appliance repaired.

We needed our air ducts cleaned and Infinity Duct Cleaning happened to call so we decided to go with them. They arrived on time and did the work in a professional manner. I appreciated that Serge in particular took the time to explain and show me how everything worked. They ended up charging us the promised price and we were satisfied with their service so we will likely use their services again in the future.

We had a problem with the electrical tripping and had no idea what was causing it. Pavel was very quick to answer my call and made an appointment to come in the next morning. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. I was very impressed by the care he took to make sure damage was minimal - he is very good at what he does. And to top it off, the price was very reasonable for the amount of work being done. I will be using Java Electric Ltd. when I need an electrician in the future, and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I needed a drywall patching job to be done as soon as possible and Richard was quick to ensure me that me he could send someone over the next morning and have the job done in one day. Phil was the person who did the work and he did a phenomenal job patching our drywall in four different places, as well as building a box to cover a sump pump on the floor. Richard and Phil were both a pleasure to deal with, and the end result of the drywall and box looked amazing! I would definitely recommend TW Drywall to my friends and family.

I called Aqua Tech Waterproofing to see if they could waterproof my basement since it was leaking in a particular place. They did not waste time in diagnosing the problem and started working to fix it quickly. Andrew dealt with every one of our concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and even called after the work was done to make sure we were happy with it. Andrew and his team seemed to genuinely care about the work they were doing and above all, wanted to make sure we as the customer were happy.

I called A.L.C. Electric after I had a sump pump installed in my basement. I needed to place a new electric outlet near the sump pump because the nearest outlet was too far away. Anthony was the first electrician to answer my call and was here to do the job first thing the next morning. I cannot say enough good things about Anthony. He worked fast and did the job well. I would definitely recommend Anthony to my friends, and now have an electrician to call in the future whenever I need one. Anthony was a pleasure to deal with and I wish him all the best!

We found AFG on homestars.com when we were looking for someone to figure out what was wrong with our boiler. AFG luckily answered my call and came the very same day to diagnose the problem. They gave us a temporary solution until the next day when technician Rafi came by and gave us a permanent solution. I cannot say enough good things about Rafi who was very thorough and truly seemed as though he wanted to make sure the job was done right. He also went out of his way to show me exactly what was wrong and explain to me what he was doing in a way which allowed me to really understand. The job was finished, the problem was fixed, and we have the utmost confidence in the work that Rafi did. I would definitely recommend AFG and will definitely be using them in the future!

We found ourselves in a situation where we had a total of two days to install hardwood flooring in our living and dining area because new tenants were moving in. We were worried that this would not be enough time, but Demetris assured us that he could get the job done. Demetris and his workers started working bright and early on Day 1 and had the job finished part-way through the day on Day 2. The end result was immaculate. We could not find a single flaw on the floors. The floors do not look rushed at all, even though Demetris only had a very short time to get them done. Him and his workers are reliable, on time, and very good at what they do. I am very satisfied with the service of Demetris Floor Sanding and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their floors done right.

I was in a situation where tenants for my property moved out and the walls in the living room had been stripped of their paint and had many holes from nails in them. I had new tenants moving in the next day and so I needed the paint job done that very same day. At 3pm I called Renaissance Painters, who responded to my emergency painting job promptly and sent workers over to work the night shift. The painters were very professional, quick, and thorough. I am impressed by their work and would recommend them to anyone looking for a painting job to be done right.
