After several years of debating whether to get a gas insert fireplace in our living room, my wife and I decided to explore looking into getting one. We visited several showrooms in Toronto to educate ourselves on the various brands and what was best for our home. We ultimately decided on getting our gas fireplace from Cozy Comfort Plus because Brian painstakingly went through the pros and cons of the different brands and what would makes sense for us. He spent a very generous amount of time with us answering every last question, including double checking the dimensions of our living room to ensure we didn't get a unit with too many BTU which would turn the house into a sauna. ( I mention this point because other dealers were all too happy to install a much stronger unit because I had inquired about the possibility of a larger viewing area firebox, not realizing that to do that, invariably, a larger unit comes with more BTU, and this would actually decrease your enjoyment of the fireplace).In addition, Brian beat every other price quote we got for the unit we ultimately decided on (Valor G3.5) The installers were excellent and were finished in a few hours. They left the area as clean as when they came in. We could not rate Brian, and Cozy Comfort Plus high enough. If I could, I would give them 15 out of 10. We are really enjoying our new fireplace. It has been on practically every day. Thank you Brian, for making it so easy!!

Very pleased with dealing with Jimmy, explaining our various options, and then having George and Dave with the installation. No surprises. The installation was excellent, and when they were done, it was if they had never even been there! (other than our new beautiful windows). We had been delaying doing this for over a year worrying about the mess and aggravation, but it was all for naught, as it was painless, quick and easy, at an incredibly fair price. Can't recommend Ambia highly enough. Thank you to Jimmy, and to the great installers for their work. Very pleased :-)))

My brother and I decided to renovate our parents 60+ year old home, and one of the things that needed to be done was waterproof the perimeter of the home which had never previously been addressed. I got three quotes, one of which was from City Wide Group. With City Wide group, I was contacted by the project manager, Alex, and we set up a time to meet. Alex was extremely courteous, and professional, as he explained what the costs would be, and the differences between how City Wide waterproofs your home, and how other companies do the job (and not in a way to disparage the other company), but to explain why City Wide uses the products that they use (eg the blueskin). I was impressed by that. As it turns out City Wide had the most competitive price. Alex explained what would happen next, re when to expect the work crew, and how long it would take, and to call him if there were any issues. There were zero surprises as the crew came when expected, and did a great job waterproofing the entire perimeter of the house in 3 working days. They were fast, efficient, and left the job site as clean as when they started. Even the neighbours were impressed. I would not hesitate to recommend City Wide Group to families and friends. They are very professional, and do a great job at a fair price. I don't know what else you could ask! Thank you City Wide Group. Much appreciated.

Many of the rock wall stones by our flower bed along much of our garden which was built 10 years ago and fallen over because of the earth pushing the stones out over time. Apex came in and removed ALL of our stones, and built a solid base using concrete, which wasn't done initially, and rebuildt our rock wall so it was in perfect alignment, and looked better than it did when originally done. They also placed a type of mesh behind the rockwall, then adding limestones on it, to allow for proper water drainage to slow the process of water and ice in the winter ultimately pushing the stones out again. As well, they power washed our stones, which was not included in our quote. They did a great job in very short order. Very pleased.

I want to thank Alex for not only his great service in wall mounting my two TV's, but also the great advice he gave all the way through. I purchased a large flat screen TV to replace our older one in the family room, and then had the old one moved up to the master bedroom. I had gone out and purchased a fixed wall mount figuring this made the most sense in a relatively narrow room, but Alex explained the benefit of a tilting wall mount to keep the angle right when watching the TV. His tilting wall mount actually cost less then the one I purchased!, so obviously I went with his for both TV's. As well, I had purchased a soundbar as many of the reviews online of the newer thinner flat screen TV's had mentioned poor sound quality from the TV and that a soundbar made a lot of sense to improve the quality of sound especially for movies etc. Alex suggested I listen to the TV sound quality first and maybe wait on installing , especially because what I described to him was trying to get a "home theatre type sound in the room. His recommendation was to maybe wait a while, and then decide if it made more sense to get a modest home theatre system later on which might better fit was I was actually looking for. I'm glad I decided to hold off! Quite honestly, this is not what I expected. When I called for the appointment, I thought it would be similar to what happened several years ago, when a gentlemen came to my home, installed the TV on my wall mount and left. Fair enough I guess, but Alex really over delivered in my view. I am very happy with my decision to call him. He was quite generous with his time. Thank you Alex :-))

I have a computer with three screens so I can look at financial charts. To allow me to have the 3 screens, I needed 2 video cards, one being a PCI express, and one with just a PCI card (older technology) because of my older motherboard. At some point, my 3rd screen didn't work anymore, but otherwise my computer was fine. My regular computer guy evaluated the problem, and told me it would be very difficult to find a PCI card that would work with the PCI express N VIdea graphic card that I had, and started coming up with ideas to fix the problem such as replacing the motherboard, and other ideas which would have cost well over $1000. I got a second opinion with Pat Canie of Toronto Computer Repair Consultants. I was able to call and go over the problem with him, and talk for 20 minutes at no charge! He was able to come over the same day and have a look at my computer. He told me there was nothing wrong with my motherboard, and simply suggested we call the NVidea support line, give them all the specifics about my motherboard, explain that I had a NVidea GeForce210 PCi express video card, and what would they recommend in a PCI card that would use the same drivers as my other video card, so there would be no conflict.!! NVidea told us what the card was (GEForce GT 610), we ordered it, Pat installed it....end of problem, all for only 1/3 the cost of what the other guy wanted to do!! I was one happy customer. Since then, I needed Pat to come over and remove a virus that created problems on the computer. I cannot give a higher recommendation for a computer repair consultant. They know their stuff, and are very fair. That's all anyone can ask.
