BEWARE SHOPPERS. Profected Carpet Cleaning located in Oshawa and which services the Greater Toronto Area is nothing short of a monkey business. They will not honor Buytopia, Livingsocial or Groupon vouchers unless you buy additional services from them at the time of redemption. They came to my condo. apt. on August 13, 2013 and wanted an extra $75.00 for sanitizing my sofas which I didn't need and for which I had already prepaid $77.00 for cleaning them along with 2 small area rugs through Buytopia. When I politely said No Thanks, they, (Guy and Tanya) said Ok we'll get the cleaning stuff from our car and be right back. THEY JUST TOOK OFF AND NEVER RETURNED. My complaint with their office person Johanne got me nowhere either as she is their partner in crime. Thankfully, Buytopia agreed to give me an in-store credit which is small consolation for my aggravation as I believe I deserved a full refund. These people are the most unprofessional and untrustworthy I have met in a long time, not to mention they made me waste my time waiting for them and moving some of my furniture around and out of the way for nothing. Also, they boast having been in the business for over 30 years and be bonded and they don't even have a toll free number for their GTA customers from whom they get most of their business. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR SHENANIGANS.
