Piad $500 deposit for a $2000 rug back in Nov 2008. We visited again mid Jan. Shop was open. The salesman was John. The shipment had not arrived and was advised that it should be in by mid Feb in time for the National Homeshow. I was dumbstruck to see that the shop is empty, with the floor stripped out and only one silly carpet near the window to stop people looking in (I guess). Egevn the railings they hang carpets on were not there. I paid via CIBC Visa - will try to get a refund via them. We have purchased a rug from this store before - you get good deals. DONT EVER PAY A DEPOSIT TO ANY BUSINESS IN THIS DAY AND AGE. WAIT UNTIL THEY HAVE THE GOODS OR YOU SEE THE GOODS THERE AN THEN.
