Brent came by and helped us out with our 1 year home inspection. The wife and I thought we had very minor issues, but Brent pointed out some things wrong with the house that we missed or that were against code. He provided helpful comments and insight in terms of what will be covered under Tarion and what wouldn't. I would highly recommend Brent. Anyone on the fence on whether they should pay for an inspection or do it themselves, I'd say it's totally worth the price. On top of this, don't skimp out and call Brent already!

Thank you for the feedback Ron! It is much appreciated! New homes can be very interesting; you would think there would be next to nothing wrong with the home (after all, you paid for perfection). However, they do have they're problems just like older homes. Certainly not all homebuilders, but many can get a little lazy and the workmanship becomes somewhat questionable. More important, some have a bad habit of "brushing people off”. I have done one year inspections where people have shown me the 30 day report and the builder has yet to address some of those issues! Makes you wonder what exactly is going on with these groups. Anyway, on a positive note, it did seem minimal with issues regarding your home.
