I was referred to Shawn on a local Facebook page by another happy customer when I asked for advice about a horrible service call I received from a company based out of Kitchener. I called Shawn and he spent 45 minutes on the phone helping me troubleshoot what the other company had done. It was obvious that we did need a new water softener but Shawn did not overtly try to sell me anything. He coached me to get the other company to at least refund me for their shoddy service call. Unfortunately, they only would if we bought a new system from them (Nope!). I phoned Shawn the next day to get a quote and his price was very competitive with them and he was offering a bigger unit (same brand) and way under what we spent on a smaller softener from a large company years ago in another house. I also asked him to quote on a RO system and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was and ended up getting a whole home system for less than that one water softener from the big company in our old house back in 2007. With the holidays looming Shawn was still able to fit us in and we are thrilled with our new system. The level of service he offers is unmatched in my experience. He is personable and cares about the comfort of his customer. His warranty is amazing and he honestly left our plumbing in better condition than he found it because of a couple repairs he made. We have awesome, convenient drinking water, soft water, and no more chlorine entering our home water supply. Soft water in Guelph is a must and Reverse Osmosis and no chlorine were two things on my wish list for my family's health once we were at a different financial stage in our lives but Shawn showed us how it was more attainable than we had assumed and that we don't have to wait to have great water.

Matt has finished our floors in two houses we've lived in and his work is outstanding and consistent.

We had a great experience with Newridge from start to finish. Scott was attentive and flexible and Matt came out to quote very promptly. Matt takes a lot of pride in his work and is awesome at his job. Matt refinished our pre-existing old hardwood and laid new wood to match in areas where there wasn't wood as well as replaced damaged spots. You cannot see any difference between the old wood and new wood. His advice on which colour of stain to go with was extremely helpful to us as well. The job was completed within the estimated time given to us.
