Had upgraded high flow bathroom fans installed. They work fine but the installer did not seal them or insulate them or even put vapour barrier . Needless to say a year later we had all kinds of humidity problems in out attic. Called the owner a couple of times and did not get any calls returned I would never trust this company to do anything again. Too bad as I prefer to support local.
My wife wanted our carpets cleaned with short notice and decided to go with Chemdry because of the reviews here. I gave her the Sq. Ft. of the total house as a guideline and they gave us a price over the phone. I thought the actual cost would be less because we were not having them do under the beds or move furniture. Plus our main floor is all hardwood. She also asked to do a couple of chairs and was told no problem, for a bit extra. They showed up on time but when they did the final quote, the cost went up from the estimate.(for less Sq. Ft. than was asked for) Since she really wanted it done that day - she went ahead. Towards the end of the day, they then informed her that the machine was amlfunctioning and didn't have time to do the two chairs and took a nominal fee off. They did do a good job on cleaning the carpets but in my opinion leveraged the convenience and overcharged. I'll be doing more research before I trust the reviews on Homestars in the future......

Sorry the price wasn't closer to the estimate. Please remember that we can only offer estimates on the phone and our techs do onsite quotes to ensure you are okay with the price before we begin cleaning. There is no obligation to proceed with the cleaning at that point. If the sq ft was less and the price was higher then optional carpet protection or deodorizer may have been offered.
