We had a challenging project and FCI managed the flooring exceptionally. We had 3 bedrooms to reflo, the landing and the staircase leading to the main floor; which meant three different types of flooring : wood, cork and carpet, including all baseboards. The service to select the materials was managed well by Jim Matthewson, the owner. We met in January 2008. The work was scheduled for June 2008 (our choice). Brett the project manager for the materials and human resources communicated quite effectively. All was managed professionally and on time. The quality of the workmanship is beyond expectations; especially since there were some "hard" spots : transition from master bedroom to ensuite (where bathroom contractor had laid the tile) as well as the transition from landing to top stair. We love the flooring colour choices and are thrilled with the results. Highly recommend them. The only recommendation is for the workers to bring plastic to cover furniture while they work.
