The previous contractor had placed shingles on a flat roof section that was now leaking. We found Dennis through HomeStars and Dennis and his partner Oleksandra came by to provide a quote. Dennis and Oleksandra were so reasonable, genuine and down to earth that I knew we were not being taken for a ride. I asked him questions on the phone, via email, asked him to draw it out for me and he did it all with such grace and promptness sensing I was nervous. He was very clear on the cost of the project and the variables. He communicated start times clearly. It was priced very well as I think he has contained is overheads as it's him and his wife that do all the work. Once the project started, he found things we expected we may and took permission to fix them. He checked the roof for other things and did not unnecessarily add on work and cost. Now ofcourse, time will tell whether it leaks again or now, but I trust that Dennis has done the job correctly. I would highly recommend him and Oleksandra to anyone. Good luck D & O!

We could not have made a better decision than hiring Land-Con. They did our neighbors backyard and we liked what we saw in terms of work but had not yet met the people behind all that. Our first interaction was with Taylor the designer, who is full of amazing ideas and gets it. he totally captured what we wanted and enhanced it to our taste. He was very mindful of not making this a more expensive project than it should have been.He was flexible with changes even until the crew arrived. Our 2nd interaction was with Jeremy at the home show and he was very pleasant to talk to, very down to earth. He has also been amazing to work with. Cordial, accommodating, kept us informed of everything along the way. The project started and finished on time and budget. No unrealistic promises and therefor no surprises. Our final interaction was with the Land-Con crew. What a great set of people to show up to your house everyday, full of smiles and pride in their work.
