We recently had a pleasure of using WindowRama to replace a few old windows in the basement. IT was a pretty small project but they had absolutely no problem answering all of our questions and going out of their way to make us happy. They even had reorder one of the windows as it came in wrongly sized from the manufacturer. THey apologized and got right on it to fix it. I am very happy that we went with Windowrama, they really do got the extra mile when it comes to customer service.

The three man crew of Kevin, Ray and Dan from Viktoria moved our heaviest household goods including a sofa and two chairs with throw rug, a five piece wall unit, a two piece computer hutch, an entertainment cabinet, a credenza, a dining room cabinet and hutch, a washer and dryer, and a refrigerator. They arrived with four-wheel dollies, padded hand trucks, pads for all the furniture and restriction bands to keep the cabinet doors closed during transit. The truck was full sized to accommodate the moved items and was in excellent repair. Once loaded, they followed my family to the new destination and unloaded and placed all items in assigned locations and assembled where required. When finished they cleaned up behind themselves before departing.

I was very surprised that in a city such as Toronto, I couldn't find a single window contractor on Google that wasn't a large franchise company. So, I took my search to Homestars. What I came up with was Windows by Installer, among other window/door contractors. Low and behold, they came out today to install a single window in my house 1.) The original estimator was clean-cut, professional, knowledgeable and on time. He made some solid recommendations and had the estimate out exactly when he said he would. The estimate was detailed, he sent the company site where they order their windows from and made great recommendations. The price was also fair and competitive. 2.) The two guys who came out were also on time, clean-cut, professional, friendly, clean and quick. They even made some recommendations for our front doors, which we'll be sure to call them on when we're ready. Nice "up-sell" guys! 3.) Their reputation as a long-standing window contractor in the area with humble beginnings made our decision very easy. Plus, they installed some windows in Old City Oakville, one of the city's most historic sites (my wife is a historian). Naturally from my 10-star review I'd recommend Windows by installer to anyone looking to have windows installed. These guys were just flat-out great to deal with and I was surprised the level of service we received since we were only having one window installed, whether your project is big or small, just give them a call.
