We recently had some drywall work and pot lights installed and while our contractor did his best to tape everything off, once they took done the plastic sheeting, there was drywall dust ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE. It was a quarter inch thick on absolutely every part of our lower level. It was a nightmare and we both were swamped with work, and had our friends coming to stay with us in 2 days. I had no idea what to do. There were hundreds of items that needed to be dusted, the walls, the soft coverings and our vacuum specifically says not to use on drywall dust or it will damage the motor. There was no way for us to do it without taking everything outside, hosing it down and then bringing it back down, which would take days. So I put a SOS out onto homestars and got an immediate response. Manne reached out within the hour, they assured me they could handle the job and do it within the next 24 hours. Laura and her team showed up, got right to work and 3 hours later, not only was it all cleaned up, they had gone above and beyond to get it cleaner than it had ever been. The attention to detail (including dozens of Lego sets fully-assembled) were dust-free. They even organized our back storage room and cleaned the inside of our beverage fridge. I could have cried, I was so impressed. A week later, we had the tiles redone in the downstairs bathroom, and while the dust wasnt nearly as bad, it had cast a fine coating onto everything. I immediately contacted Manne and he was able to get Laura and team back within a couple of days, where they were in-and-out within a couple of hours and everything was sparkling clean once again. I cant even place a value on how much peace of mind and sheer man-hours they have saved us. I have told everyone I have spoken to, that it was the best money I have ever spent. I cannot recommend them enough.

Our house is a century-old bungalow in the Upper Beaches that had a roof that had seen better days. there were multiple layers of shingles on it as well a shed in the back that we share with our neighbours that had 3 layers of old shingles on it. We have two big skylights in the kitchen and one of them had a small but persistent leak, so they also needed to be replaced. Within minutes of reaching out, Bob contacted us right away and arranged to come by to give us a quote. He arrived on time and was professional and friendly. Communication with their administration was easy and we were kept updated on the process. The team that showed up to do the were polite, respectful and hardworking (despite very high temperatures) and did a good job making sure that everything was cleaned up properly. The job cost almost exactly what the quote was (we did have some older boards that needed replacing due to rot, but we had been told in advance what that cost would be if it arose, so no surprises there.) Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend Smart Roofing.

We had a small leak in our foundation and knew we needed someone to look at it before it became a huge problem. Not knowing who to trust, we asked a good friend who had gone through several projects, and he happily referred us to Bill Fairney. He was prompt, professional, knowledgable and really seems passionate about what he's doing. Within minutes of me emailing him, he called us back; and within days he and his crew had come, dug, waterproofed, cemented and left with no trace of having been there which our neighbours appreciated. He was very hands-on; calling us every day to let us know what had been done and what was going to happen the following day. We are happy to recommend him and will use him again on any future projects!

I've recently had an installation of an R/O system in our home and had a very good experience with Watermart. Linda was great to deal via email and phone and Scott was able to come later in the day at my request and the installation took no more than an hour. He was knowledgable, kind and courteous.
