We moved into a big house with a fenced in backyard with a dream of the kids playing in the backyard.... then we learned that something(s) lived under the deck and the backyard was graded incorrectly and flooded the basement and was swampy in portions. In came Burl-Oak to the rescue - they removed the deck, dug down to our footings and waterproofed a whole wall of the house, regraded the whole backyard, put in a beautiful new lawn and a wonderful interlock patio and walkway. Now its a dream come true! They even added a few surprise perks like graduated steps from our garage entrance to the walkway after seeing our toddler/pre-schooler climb the existing big step, and adjusting the backyard gate which had become off-kilter and never really opened/closed smoothly. So now we can actually access our new space safely and with ease! With our 2 little ones home to "oversee" the project out the patio door/windows - every worker who came was on their best behaviour. No complaints about new bad words, bad behaviours, etc based on the monkey-see/monkey-do stage our kids are in! Everyone was professional, courteous and great to work with. We had a wonderful experience with Mark and Louay and will call them again when its time for our next project!

The control panel/clock on our stove was breaking lose and falling into the appliance. We called the manufacturer, who referred us to Sutton and Son. I had great customer service from the time I called them. They knew what the problem was without coming, ordered the part and scheduled an appointment to come later the same week. On the appointed day, I got a call in the morning to provide a time frame. They arrived on time, completed the repair and all the paperwork quickly, professionally and without making any mess! A very pleasant experience! Thank you!

They tell a great story until they start taking your money. We were assigned a project manager, who then quit the company and we were not informed and a new project manager was not assigned. After weeks of e-mails, text messages and leaving voicemails, we found out a week before our project was scheduled to start that he was gone and that none of the trades had been scheduled. It also seemed that he had left without leaving notes or instructions for anyone in the company, or otherwise that no one at the company took the time to inform themselves, so we essentially had to repeat ourselves over and over to one person after another. Our project went well beyond the projected timeline - costing us extra time off work, and meaning that we lived in a construction zone with our toddler. The trades who were sent did not know what they were to do, did not have the requisite tools or supplies, sometimes did not show up at all, were scheduled in the wrong order so frequently had to come back repeatedly to actual do their work. Additionally, when it came to invoicing, they were unable or unwilling to provide any supporting documents to explain the charges from places like Home Depot. Ultimately, their services are FAR from perfect in spite of the name.

Thank you Dov and Invision for your amazing transformation of our home! Dov was fantastic to work with from his first response to our initial e-mail all the way to the end of our project. His incredible attention to detail, attentiveness and knowledge made working with him a dream. Having worked with many different contractors, we can easily say that Invision was one of the best we have had the pleasure of working with and that Invision shatters all the negative stereotypes about bad service from contractors. Dov personally responded to every one of our questions by e-mail and/or telephone within 24 hours (not just one business day, we got responses on evenings, weekends and even while he was on vacation!), his team arrived on site on time every morning, and the project finished on time! To top it off, we are THRILLED with the patching/repairs and refinishing of our parquet floors and LOVE our refinished staircase. We can't recommend Dov and Invision enough!
