Frank ghosted me after taking half the project money for refinishing my floors 2700$. Total cost of refinishing was 4500 + materials. He did a terrible job sanding my floors down leaving all the Stain and original varnish on all the cracks on every board, against every wall, under the cabinetry and appliances. He used the drum Sander in ways that dug big dips all over my floor. He wasn't even going to sand down the floor behind the basement door leaving 6" of unfinished floor calling it part of the basement and not part of the main floor. Ridiculous. I got the impression he was going start staining my floors so I questioned if he was done sanding. He was calling it good enough about leaving all the original Stain and varnish on all the groves he said he had some touchups left. That night I spent 5 hours sanding all the remaining spots down. You cannot stain through old varnish, it doesnt work. It was most definitely not good enough and when I called and said I wasn't accepting this quality of work he threaten to make me wait 3 weeks to come and continue working on the project. My entire main floor has everything moved out and I have a wife and kids that need their living space back. Not cool. I regret paying this man anything upfront. He cuts corners and rushes out of the job as fast as possible. Which would be fine if it was good quality workmanship. I'm need my house back so if you want it done right just do it yourself. Which I am now.
