In Ottawa, landscaper contracted sprinkler system to greenscape. The purpose of a sprinkler setup is to keep grass green, this company fails in this regard. Positives: 1) they reply very promptly to emails, phone calls. 2) take the time to talk to you and accomodate times for setup (ie: took the time to show me how to winterize the system. Negatives: 1) Once system installed and after landscaper put on new sod, greenscapes programming of system caused burnt out grass in a matter of days. I did a system test and found that some of the zones did not have sufficient pressure for inground heads to pop up. when I called them, their practical answer was removing some of the heads I already paid in order to improve pressure in remaining ones. I had to tell them I noticed this, then they provided a rebate on the heads they took out! 2) multiple issues related to 1. The purpose of a sprinkler setup is to keep grass green. they have come on a few occassions to resod patchy areas, but sod provided struggling on arrival and dead. I have had to reseed manually multiple times. On paper, things are very friendly, but after landscaper experience with this company, they are no longer contracting work out to them.
