We recently had our KRUG dining room set refinished by Roy Furniture Repair & Refinishing Ltd. The dining set consists of a dining table, six chairs, a china cabinet and sideboard cabinet all of which needed refinishing due to age and wear. I contacted Roy for an initial assessment, and he responded within minutes. He came to our house to examine the furniture and was extremely helpful in describing the work needed, stain colour options and fabric options for the chairs. He did a beautiful restoration job, and we were pleased with the results. We were able to arrange with Roy for pick up & return of the items. We found it quite easy to do business with Roy as he was very responsive and professional.

We wanted to replace the old iron railings and wooden posts on our veranda with aluminum that would look good, last well and not require a lot of maintenance. We met with Jorge from Cipriano Aluminum Inc. who showed us a variety of choices in style and colour and gave us a reasonable estimate on the spot for doing the job. Jorge was able to come even earlier than originally estimated to do the work and completed the job in half a day. He and his son worked quickly and efficiently, did a beautiful job and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. We are very pleased with the work that was done for us. Our next door neighbours also had their railings & posts replaced by Jorge (and were pleased as well) so both homes look great!

We were very pleased with our kitchen refresh/reno done through Home Reno Direct. We first met with the design consultant Amer at their Mississauga showroom. He was very pleasant and informative, and walked us through the reno process. The showroom is beautiful and has a large selection of quartz countertops, tile and glass back splash, porcelain flooring and fixtures/accessories. Amer came to our home to see the kitchen, took measurements and made notes, and made several suggestions. We met him again at their showroom, where we picked out colours and finishes for paint, countertop and back splash. The flooring was picked out separately at their floor supplier’s showroom. Amer put together a written quote for us, and Helen provided us with the payment schedule. We were advised that our reno would take about 3-4 weeks, and it indeed took 4 weeks. All the crew that came to our home were fantastic. Very courteous, friendly and tried their best to be as tidy as you can be during a kitchen reno! Kudos to our Project managers Sean and Lionel, demo crew Lauren and Kenny , Corey for drywall, framing & misc, delivery/pick up guy Bobby, electricians David and Lou, plumber Vince, painter Paul, Tom for taping/mudding, Chris and Jake for removal of cabinet doors/hardware, spray painting and re-assembly, and Rob for flooring, baseboards, additional painting, installation of foyer cupboard doors and all kinds of little touch-ups and fixes. Helen did the invoicing and kept us up to date. Also thanks to the people we dealt with at their showroom: Amer, Annabella, Remon, Uzma, and Natasha. As with any reno, there were a few minor issues and concerns but we were always able to work with Home Reno Direct to get them resolved to our satisfaction. I would recommend that if you make any change that impacts cost after the original quote is done, make sure and get a revised written quote before moving forward. Our kitchen now looks great, and we are thankful for all the hard work that was done by everyone.

We have used Hometurf Lawn Care now for about 3 years and have been quite satisfied with their service. They call the day before they come to confirm the appointment, show up when they say they will and do a good job. Price is competitive and our lawn looks good. Morris Family, Etobicoke

Sia came to our home on the same day I called to provide a quote on replacing our bathroom sink. His estimate was reasonable and included a recommendation to upgrade my old shutoff values (no more leaks!). He was able to do the work the same day (although it was already after 4pm). He did a tidy, efficient job in a very friendly and professional manner. I would definitely use this company again for future plumbing jobs.

We needed our 50 year old chimney inspected and cleaned so that we could feel confident to use it. Chris B. arrived on time, listened to my concerns and then did a neat and thorough job. He provided a summary of his findings as well as some very good suggestions when using the fireplace. He was friendly, helpful and charged a reasonable price.
