Northern Comfort was one of three companies I got quotes from for replacement windows. They were recommended to me by a friend at work who had been very happy with them. We live in York Region and liked the fact that they were a local business to support. Their quote was better than another large window company offering the same product. In particular I want to acknowledge Sales Consultant, Mark L. from the Newmarket showroom. He gave great information about replacement windows. In choosing a company, I went back to him 2 or 3 times to clarify things. He knew I was still in negotiations with another company and had not made a final decision. He remained professional and honoured what we had discussed. He really went above and beyond without discrediting his competitors. It was refreshing to work with an honourable sales rep. I too would highly recommend Northern Comfort Windows and Doors.

I wasn't having much luck getting quotes on replacing our double car driveway. It has been a rainy spring, so with the onset of decent weather I wasn't getting any return phone calls. I checked Homestars and found Nortown Paving. I called and was pleasantly surprised to be talking to the owner who was manning the phones that day. Shortly thereafter he sent his son Mark to our home to give us a quote. Although I met with other companies, we just knew Nortown was the right choice. They were professional, and reasonably priced. We had a full crew show up on construction day. They.did an excellent job. Most of the workers were related to the owners and they treated us as family too. Looking at the driveway, the best thing is the large soldiers course they recommended. Since having it done I have had neighbours I have not even met before stop to tell me how good it looks.
