Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. At Dave’s Painters, we pride ourselves on being transparent and honest with all our clients, and I’d like to clarify a few points regarding your experience.
Firstly, no deposit was made for the project, which is a standard part of our process to ensure a good faith agreement before we begin work. Additionally, there were changes made to the scope of the project—such as the addition of ceiling paint—without prior discussion or mutual agreement. This, along with the lack of clarity around the wall paint, made it challenging to move forward smoothly.
I do recall making sure my workers did in fact return your furniture to the original positions they were in, including your large solid wood bed frame, free of charge.
We understand the importance of reliability, but we also rely on clear communication and agreements to maintain a healthy client-business relationship. Unfortunately, the conditions of this project didn’t align with the professional standards we set, which is why we ultimately had to step away.
