We had plumbtech come in on an urgent basis previously due to a problem with our upstairs bathroom, and they were quick to respond and the work was very well done so we called them again. I called for this new service yesterday and they came this morning. The plumber brought his own vacuum cleaner, took the old toilet away for disposal along with all of the packing materials from the new toilet and installed the new. We are very happy with the work done by Plumbtech Plumbing and will call them again.

Once we signed the financing papers it was 6 months before job was completed which is not what was promised. When the work was actually being done it was done well but there are deficiencies that are still being disputed. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you have very deep pockets and don't mind waiting a long time for the work to be sort of completed. Expect to hire someone else the next time you decide you need electrical work to be done. I would recommend Dan and George for their work, but criticize John and Joan for their handling of the project ie. thought someone else ordered items, even though it is clearly their role, someone didn't tell them what was needed even though it's their company, etc. Very poor operations management and lack of positive corporate culture where customer service is concerned.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Ensure that the supplies required for a job are ordered and ready to go. Don't make customer wait because you weren't organized enough to have things ready to go, or blame the electrician when the customer complains. Ensure that the job is done right the first time. It's been 2 years since this project began and still things aren't right.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Stay on top of project and call everyday to ensure the work is being done, the operations part is doing its part, ie. ordering what is required and check every piece of work to ensure it's actually done. Make sure nothing is missed or not done to your standards.
