Our A/C was not working during this summer. After going through HomeStars for quality A/C contractors, I came across Home Air Systems Inc. and was impressed by their 5 star reviews. I immediately contacted Mike who quickly arranged for an on-site service call. Upon inspection, Mike recommended fixes which could cost more than $1000. Mike advised about the repair and new install prices. Since the unit was about 15 years old, I decided to install a new unit. Mike gave me a great price too. We arranged for a time for install and he and did a great job. He also added a complimentary pipe for fresh air to come inside the unit. I had asked him to come for a furnace inspection in the fall and he called me early October and upon inspection diagnosed that there was a problem with the furnace circuit board due to which the furnace used to shutdown immediately upon startup. Also since the furnace was 15 years old, I decided to replace it. Mike gave me a good price for a quality unit. He also gave me a complimentary Honeywell T4 thermostat. For both the service calls, he waived the inspection service call charges. All these work was done without any supervision. I highly recommend Mike because he is sincere, honest, prompt and hard-working and will be there to meet all your a/c and furnace needs in future.

After calling a few people for quotes, I looked up on Homestars for closet makers and contacted Joseph from Superior Closets due to their very good reviews. I contacted Joseph for a quote for a bookshelf and he promptly came over and took dimensions and gave suggestions to what would be cost effective and look nice. Infact he gave me a better quote than other people i contacted. Later i contacted him for adding doors to the bottom of the shelf, which he gladly accepted. Delivery date was fixed and on that day Chris came over and did a fantastic and clean job of assembling the shelf. The final product was beautiful. I am very pleased with Joseph and his team's professional approach to the whole job. Not a single complaint. He made sure that all my concerns were addressed. I would recommend Superior Closets wholeheartedly to everyone to would like to build closets for storage.

I searched homestars and called Moe due to their excellent reviews and we can assure you that we were not disappointed. We wanted to remove the carpet from our stairs and do the nosing upstairs under the railings. Also we wanted to get the work done as soon as possible. Moe was very prompt in answering my call and even if he was extremely busy he made up time to come and understand the work and give me a quote. The work was completed in 3 days. His guys were very extremely professional in their work. Every day they started their work on time and worked late evenings. Moe personally came to inspect the work and made sure everything was according to the quality which was their standard. Overall extremely pleased with the quality of work and their professionalism and would definitely recommend them to anyone who would like to do their stairs.

We wanted someone to clean our kitchen, hallway and bathroom tiles, re-grout and re-caulk them the very next day. Searched for quite a few people, but all were very busy, many did not even answer my calls. Finally found GroutRepair.ca and spoke with Chris John, its owner and operator. He instantly took my call and I gave him my address and he came and the appointed time and gave me a very good quote. He came early the next day and right away started his work. What a professional Chris is. Our tiles are sparkling like new after 15 years. He did an excellent job in re-grouting and re-caulking. He is very honest, sincere and hard-working. He finished the work which was supposed to be 2 days of work in 12 hours. He went above and beyond what he was supposed to do to make sure we are satisfied. We are extremely satisfied with his work and I can surely recommend him to anyone who would need similar service.

After seeing their reviews in Home Stars, we approached Perfect Painters and their receptionist Merry was very prompt and helpful in knowing our needs. She was able to send their Project Manager the next day. We wanted to finish our work ASAP. Vigen Amirkhanian was our Project Manager and he was outstanding at understanding our needs and guiding us how the work would be done and he also gave us a reasonable price. He was able to provide 4 guys for the initial days so that work would be done at the earliest. Vigen was diligent in inspecting our house after each day's work to make sure about the quality of work. We were also very pleased with the work their painter Leon did. He painted all our walls, doors, basement, trims and baseboards. There were some repairs to our walls too. He was very clean and professional and fast in his work. The entire work was completed in 5 days instead of 7 days. An outstanding company with an outstanding team, we would give them a perfect 10 and would definitely recommend them to others.
