Hello On Sept 23 we ordered 2 recliners from the Ashley store in saskatoon clarence ave. On Oct 15 we were told they would be delivered oct 17. We would rec an email on the 16th then a call on the morning of the 17 to let us know what tome and then a phone call 15 mins prior to the "white glove delivery". We waited all day at home on the 17th. I finally phoned at 5 pm and got a recording that our shipment was delayed and would be delivered sat the 21st. I called again as we were not available on the 21 and they said the nxt date was nov 7. My husband called the store to cancel the order and they hung up on him 3 times. Needless to say he was furious! The sales man then called begging him to not cancel and said the chairs were in the warehouse not delayed. Then the manager called and again asked him not to cancel the order. We decided that we didnt want to wait on the delivery and would not deal with a store with such poor customer service. We cancelled the order. Now we have a bill with fairstone for 359.09. I have tried contacting the store numerous 5+ times and have been promised the manager will call me back. No call. There is no way we should have to pay anything for such poor customer service. Also as a side note we were misled to about the fabric on the chairs. I asked twice and the salesman and manager told me it was leather. Online it says it is polyester. Also i understand there is a recall on the cup holders that catch fire. I want this charge removed!
