My dryer vent was 80% blocked. I had my dryer vent cleaned and as they were cleaning it some insulation was coming out. They went into the attic and realized the builder put on the wrong dryer cap on the roof and it was not allowing any dryer lint out. It was completely blocked. In addition the vent was no longer connected to the cap. Huge fire risk! Dryer Vent Doctor cleaned the vents, next day had someone come and replace and hook up the proper cap, re-seal then re-checked everything in the attic. They walked us through everything they were doing showed pictures and explained how to ensure there are no problems in the future.
