Our kitchen had an awkward full bath attached to it, making it very cramped, so we decided to convert the bath to a powder room instead to create space. It's our first time doing a big renovation and we were naturally nervous and excited. After checking various reviews on Homestars and asking for consult from different contractors we decided to go with North 5. From the first meeting, Enkel was great. He was professional and patient with our questions. Before we hired him, he created an estimate that properly itemized all the tasks at hand and how much it would cost. The transparency was reassuring. He didnt promise anything grand, only that he would treat our reno like it was for his own house. From beginning to end, we felt we were in great hands. Walter is excellent and one I highly recommend! First of all he replied promptly to my query here in HomeStars, and was able to quickly set an appointment to check our ceiling damage. It was already cracked for a while and finally the drywall fell down. Luckily no one was around the area but it created a big hole. Walter assessed what needed to be done and gave us a quote which we found more than reasonable. He's professional, friendly and patient with our questions.
