Krystle and Justin were amazing from start to finish. We worked with Krystle to land on the best a/c and furnace unit for our home. I appreciated her candour. Lendrix also installed a vent in our basement bathroom, a new furnace humidifier and our ecobee thermostat (we purchased the thermostat). The approximate cost includes the furnace ($5400 + GST); A/C ($4200 + GST) and all labour. Would absolutely recommend this company without hesitation.

Roy was very helpful and always quick to communicate and respond as we set-up the appointment to remove two existing light fixtures and one ceiling fan and replace with three new ceiling fans. We were very pleased with his expertise and workmanship. A terrific, honest electrician.

Terin came to our home to help us diagnose an issue with our basement bathroom fan and install a replacement light fixture in our ensuite bathroom. We conducted our first radon test nearly two years ago. At the time, it was quite low, and Renata was extremely helpful. She patiently walked me through all of our options, and I decided, because our number was quite low, to hold-off on the mitigation work. Fast forward to October of 2020, we retested and discovered, although we were still well below the Health Canada guideline of 200 Bq/m3, our radon number had doubled to 130 Bq/m3. At that point, we decided to proceed with the mitigation. From the site assessment to the installation, Radon West was professional and extremely patient, explaining the work that was being performed to reduce radon in our home. Colin and Renata are knowledgeable, trustworthy and dedicated to the work they're doing in this field. Radon West did an amazing job! Top marks all around; I have 100% comfort in recommending them to other clients.

Here's what differentiates Heatmaster Service from their competitors: service. They genuinely care about their customers and pride themselves on providing authentic advice and recommendations. We contacted them b/c our furnace was making a gear-against-gear noise which resulted in a burning smell. Turned out it, it was the motor. That has now been replaced in a timely and cost effective manner. I asked, as the furnace is over 15 years old, if we should just replace it. The answer, after some discussion, was no. We recently worked with our cable company to upgrade our internet and cable services. Unfortunately, when they came out to complete the order, they were unable to network our Apple Express (which allows us to stream our favourite tunes). I contacted Shaun on Dec.28th--fully not expecting to hear from him until the New Year--and he called me that same day. Best of all, he found room in his schedule the following day to provide us with the support to get up n' running. Both he and his colleague were polite, professional and extremely helpful. I was incredibly impressed with both of them. I will certainly, without hesitation, hire AudoVation for any future audio/TV mounting support. Five stars!

My husband has been having trouble sleeping for over 13 months. We decided it was time to upgrade our mattress. I discovered Masterpiece Hardwood by conducting a search through Homestars. At the time, we were relocating from Toronto to Calgary and I had (successfully) used Homestars to find some amazing contractors. However, Todd and Connie, surpassed all my expectations. Conne was gracious enough to come to our home and patiently walk me through all of our flooring options. Initially, we were looking to match our upstairs flooring with the existing (maple) on the main floor. After much discussion, and thankfully some good advice, we decided to replace the main floor hardwood and the upstairs hardwood with an unbelievably beautiful product (Du Chateau: Olde Dutch). Although this product was a bit more expensive than some of the other lines carried by Masterpiece, it was everything we were looking for: gorgeous, thick-planked wood that promises to look as beautiful today as tomorrow. Anyhow, I could ramble on about the product itself for a long time (not only is it stunning, but it's a character-grade wood which means the inevitable signs of aging will only enhance this beautiful product), but we'll leave it at this: this hardwood completely changed the appearance of our home. It's gorgeous. Working with Todd and Connie was an immense pleasure. These two folks are 100% committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. We never felt like they were pushing a product--they provided product details and advice--and we made the ultimate call. Todd, while onsite was meticulous: it's clear he's a craftsman who is incredibly passionate about his work. Truly, it was a pleasure. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering making a change to their flooring. If you want to work with a team who has your best interests at heart, this is the team.

I contacted Maple WIndow & Eaves Cleaning to help us clear a blockage in our eavestrough and to, generally, clean the eaves. I was very impressed with their service! Before beginning work, the workman knocked on our door and politely informed us about a) who he was b) what he was doing. Then, he got to work just hours before a huge thunderstorm overtook Toronto. Obviously, he did an excellent job...because everything moved smoothly through the eaves. I have no hesitation recommending this team if you want upfront, reliable and above reproach service. In a word: amazing. Nikki helped us create a design for our very shady backyard. For several years, my husband had struggled to grow all varieties of grass, with little to no success. Add a large, exuberant 65-pound dog into the mix and we were at a loss for ideas. Enter Nikki! She created a beautiful, sustainable plan for our backyard that that not only produces gorgeous flowers and full, lush plants but is dog-friendly. Yes, she actually took the time to do research about how her choices would impact our garden-loving (re: digging/eating) pooch. Thanks Nikki! We love our beautiful city, garden oasis. Reliable came to our rescue. They responded to my call very promptly and were at our house within 24-hours of the call. Both Rob and Jamie were extremely helpful and professional. Not to mention just really nice, approachable guys. They even made the trip back to our place--they day after the storm--to help us with a small issue. Would most certainly call them again!

I sent an email to Valentin on a Sunday morning and heard back from him within an hour. We discussed the issue, made an appointment and he resolved the problem. His professional attitude was refreshing. Our toilet works better than it EVER has and the area where he worked was absolutely immaculate. He is our new plumber! I would highly recommend his services.

Antonio, and his nephew Pavel, exceeded our expectations. When we realized a chest freezer would never fit down the stairs of our narrow basement, we decided to hired an electrician to set-up a dedicated service out to the cold room off our kitchen. We suspected this wouldn't be a large job and worried it might be tough to find an electrician to take it on. We met with Antonio and Pavel on a Tuesday evening and by Saturday (on a long weekend no less) at 1pm we had electricity in the cold room. Not only did they show-up on time, do exceptionally professional work but they left the site exactly as they found it. Without question, I highly recommend their services.

Alec and his team arrived promptly on the morning of April 27 and by 3:30 that afternoon we had a beautiful cedar deck. It truly is a masterpiece and we absolutely adore it. Alec is such an easy going, polite and helpful guy to deal with...we highly recommend his services.

I was impressed with Martin from the moment he entered our property. I felt his quote for our basement work was quite fair. And Express Rooter did an exceptional job excavating our basement and addressing our "not to code" drain issue. There was no evidence of any mess after the guys wrapped up for the day. As a bonus, they also stepped up and completed our city paperwork (for a the city rebate). No question, these guys are professional. However, the work we had done at the front of the property did seem expensive. We were quoted $2499 and our neighbor, who had the same work done a month or two before, paid about $700 less. Perhaps the jobs weren't equivalent. But our situation was that we just wanted to get the work done...while the crew was on the premise (they were wrapping up the basement work). I would definitely recommend Express Rooter again as they are above and beyond professional. But I would get multiple quotes for future projects and ask for additional information on the calculation of any supplier's quote (if it was significantly higher than comparable competition (e.g. another company offering a similar warranty on parts and labour). Just a slight caveat.
